“I’m going to be voting for him but I do have significant disagreements
with him, which I’ve been very clear on, so I won’t be endorsing him, “
Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) told CNN’s Manu Raju in an interview published
Tuesday.

It’s a distinction without a difference.

I don’t know who is running against this horrible woman, but fergawdsakes, don’t return her to the Senate. She will now be fully qualified for a minimum-wage position making pretzels. Buh-bye, Ms. Ayotte.

“I am not endorsing him! I’m just using my vote to empower him to control our nuclear weapons.”

Distinction accomplished. I wish someone would challenge Grassley in this fashion, maybe we could get his numbers more in the Ayotte-range.

I won’t tell you to vote for him but I will vote for him.

M’Lynn: Her colors are pink and pink!

Shorter Ayotte: I will vote for Trump to be elected POTUS so he can implement policies I do not endorse or support.

Kelly Ayotte is definitely not smart enough to deal with this level of cognitive dissonance. If you listen closely, you can almost hear the hamster wheel turning furiously inside her head.

Oh for Christ’s sake Kelly…show some gumption. He’s a sexist ahole that has put you down PERSONALLY and denigrated women as a group. It’s ALL RIGHT to think he’s a joke and that you couldn’t vote for him on a bet. By dithering you are a self fulfilling prophecy in The Donald’s mind…weak.

“There’s actually a big distinction,” Ayotte said. “Because everyone gets a vote—I do too–but an endorsement is one where I’m out campaigning with someone. And so while he has my vote he doesn’t have my endorsement, and I’m going to continue to really focus on my race.”

Maggie Hassan, the progressive, popular governor is the Democratic candidate. Your contribution to her campaign will be welcome.

A vote for someone shows support for what they stand for. A vote for someone is an endorsement for them.

There is a great old W.C. Fields quote: “There comes a time in the affairs of men when we must grab the bull by the tail, and face the situation.” Problem solved?

The " distinction" is about as effective as debating how many angels can dance on the head of a pin: pointless and idiotic.

This convoluted logic also forms the foundation of many off-color tacky jokes … with punch lines like -
"… I’ll only put it in a little bit - so it won’t really count "
“… as long as we never actually do it in a bed - you can say you’ve never gone to bed with anybody”
