“The Public Interest Legal Foundation is led by J. Christian Adams, a prominent advocate for restrictive voting laws on the right. Adams is a former Justice Department official who helped make the New Black Panther case a conservative cause célèbre. Adams resigned from the Justice Department in 2010 claiming that the Obama administration was neglectful in how it handled voter intimidation allegations against two black activists at a Philadelphia voting site in the 2008 election.”

The Public Interest Legal Foundation is led by J. Christian Adams, a prominent white nationalist racist prick who is angry about demographic shifts that are erasing white power and privilege and taking away white/WASP dominance and control over the nation;s government and culture. Adams is a former Justice Department official who abused his position and power to politicize the New Black Panther case. Adams resigned from the Justice Department in 2010 because he didn’t want an uppity n----r telling him what to do.

Trump on Thursday is expected to sign an executive order creating a commission that will look into voter fraud, after Trump himself, without evidence, claimed that millions of people voted illegally. The commission is being led by Vice President Mike Pence and Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, who is a vocal advocate for restrictive voting laws.

That’s one of the scarier paragraphs I’ve seen written here at TPM. I wouldn’t be surprised if white hoods are handed out at the first commission meeting, no joke.

I hope the GOP rs that are not racist now understand that they put in a racist regime.

Not a single politician who talks about voter fraud actually believes it is a problem. It is purely about voter suppression. It’s gotten to the point where they are barely trying to conceal it.

From the above, “Foes of the commission are trying to cover up crimes,” a spokesman for the Public Interest Legal Foundation said in a statement to TPM. “They are accessories after the fact to voter fraud.”

Is claiming a specific person or institution has violated the law, a form of slander and/or intimidation?
If they are accusing, then why have they not brought a court case against these folks or turned over evidence to the police?

I believe someone bark is very much louder than their bite.

Would it make a difference? Up to now, all we have ever seen, apart from the odd twinge of conscience, was “whatevs”. And even when there has been a twinge, it doesn’t last long and then it’s also a shrug and “whatevs”…

Trump on “priming the pump”

The Economist: But beyond that it’s O.K. if the tax plan increases the deficit?

Trump: It is O.K., because it won’t increase it for long. You may have two years where you’ll . . . you understand the expression “prime the pump”?

The Economist: Yes.

Trump: We have to prime the pump.

The Economist: It’s very Keynesian.

Trump: We’re the highest-taxed nation in the world. Have you heard that expression before, for this particular type of an event?

The Economist: Priming the pump?

Trump: Yeah, have you heard it?

The Economist: Yes.

Trump: Have you heard that expression used before? Because I haven’t heard it. I mean, I just . . . I came up with it a couple of days ago, and I thought it was good. It’s what you have to do.

The Economist: It’s . . .

Trump: Yeah, what you have to do is you have to put something in before you can get something out.

“Foes of the commission are trying to cover up crimes”

Seems they’re saying the verdict was reached before even beginning an investigation.

Citizen: I’d like to buy this.
Seller: Sorry. Can’t buy a gun without a birth certificate.

Trump declared his candidacy by labeling an entire race criminals and rapists. Anyone who pulled the lever for Trump knew what they were getting and was okay with it. Liberals need to stop try to find excuses for Republican voters conscious choice to put this racist misogynistic fascist in the Oval Office.

Flipping Kansas would have required 244,014 more Clinton votes. That’d be something close to 20%. Let’s talk about flipping PA, MI, and WI instead where the required percentage would have been considerably less than 1%.

This EO is simply a ruse to make voting qualifications a national issue, rather than a State’s issue. Kobach will ensure that national voting requirements are adopted that exclude as many people as possible, all in the name of ensuring every citizen’s constitutional rights. In a way, i am almost glad this is becoming a national issue, as opposed to all 50 states trying to individually limit who can vote. If it’s a national standard, one simple step can be developed, like motor/voter laws, selective service inscription, even change of address forms at the post office. Adopting a national standard can ensure one standard that does not change from state to state that everyone understands, and is easy to follow. The danger in this approach is Kris Kobach. He wants to make it harder for people to exercise their constitutional rights, not make it easier.

From WBAL:

“The FBI used trash bags to cover a window at the offices of Strategic Campaign Group at 191 Main St. The firm is touted for pioneering the use of technology in political campaigns, and it represents GOP candidates nationwide.”

I understand Fancy Bear, Cozy Bear, and WikiLeaks pioneered the use of technology in GOP campaigns, too.

Probably just a coincidence.

I have nothing intellectually relevant to say because I am seething mad that I have to share a nation with packs of fucking right-wing asshole-ic fools who have nothing fucking better to do than inflict upon the rest of us, their racist, xenophobic white nationalist bullshit. Start working to improve the lives of ALL your fellow Americans Either that, or do us all a favor and cut your own fucking heads off and die!
