Some would love it; some would hate it.
This is disgusting.
Every mainstream television and radio infotainment profit center and click-baiting web site is cashing in on terrorism and fear-mongering every day non-stop. The war profiteers in government who fan the flames of war like Dick Cheney and Dianne Feinstein are poised to cash in once again.
To my thinking, this is more vile only in being blatant enough to recognize so readily, but perhaps not so vile in that the war profiteers and media outlets are quite cognizant of what they’re doing.

Memorial Day is not commemorating a specific day in history, plus many people get the day off from work, unlike 9/11 or 12/7. So they really are very different.

your picture is Abe Lincoln and you don’t know what Memorial Day is??? It began as a day of remembrance for the Union dead in the Civil War. Not a particular day, but certainly a solemn occasion.
but really, is this yoga studio story the least important story/controversy of all time? Or does that prize still belong to the Zara concentration camp shirt story from a few weeks ago?

Oh, c’mon. There is absolutely nothing, given enough time, that we can’t trivialize. I’d rather see 9/11 trivialized than exploited to push bad policy.
