A state GOP lawmaker miffed over new gun control measures is threatening to remove Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe's security detail, a threat the Democratic governor's spokesperson dismissed as a “reactionary temper tantrum.”
Sure, take away the governor’s security detail. If afterward he’s injured or worse, you’ll take responsibility for that, right?

Why do you GOP right wingers always have to make threats of shutting down this or that if you don’t get your way? If the Governor gets injured or shot you do realize it will be your responsibility?

actually, I believe the Virginia state assembly is one of the few places in the Commonwealth where you are NOT allowed to carry. because they are hypocritical cowards.

just as background for anyone who wasn’t aware of this action by the AG, he halted reciprocity for states that have carry requirements that are more lax than Virginia’s. in other words, if your requirements to carry either meet or exceed Virginia’s, the Commonwealth will still recognize that right.
This is to stop people who don’t qualify for a carry permit in Virginia from going across state lines and getting the permit from a less restrictive state.
