I suppose he thought he was keeping his family safe.

Tough girl.

Dad shoots her
Then crashes with her in the car.

Well, I’m sure the family feels much safer now that they’re absolutely, 100% certain that dad will shoot blindly at the shadows. You hate to be unsure about those sorts of things.

Is it that hard to ask “Who is that?” before shooting?

“Lang said the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office will “confer with the
Commonwealth’s Attorney’s office [to] reference all the facts, and once it is completed, determine how they want us to go further,” according to WHAG.”

I’m sure they’ll be able to charge the daughter with something.

The daughter is expected to survive, and WHAG said it remains uncertain whether charges will be filed against the father.

How about first degree cretinism?

Damn, that’s harsh punishment for being out after curfew.

Well the father was protected, that is something. Thank God for the NRA

Better yet, stay in your home with the doors locked and the alarm on. Immediately call the police and wait until they arrive. At the end of the day, it would’ve been a terribly embarrassing experience for his family but his daughter would’ve gotten the punishment she deserved instead of a gunshot wound.

Once again where “coming at him” means, “I knew someone was there and pulled the trigger because this was finally my big chance to be Dirty Harry so I took it.”

Seriously, people. How about a warning? I know, because if you warned off the criminal they’d run away and you’d lose the opportunity to kill someone.

You’re pointing a gun at someone who obviously doesn’t know you’re there.

What kind of chickenshit shoots first at an oblivious and verifies the target later?

If you believe, based on tribalistic propaganda, that you need a gun to keep you safe, you are going to, at some level, evaluate every out of the ordinary occurrence through the filter of that belief.

But is the gun okay?

Well someone’s getting a shitty Father’s Day gift this year.

But I thought shoot first and ask questions later was the only way to keep your family safe from the armed gangs that are, even now, breaking into your home to commit violent murder?

Better not. Look what happened when she came home late.

Was he drunk or under the influence? This will scare away potential suitors.

Rural nowhere. Obviously just half a step away from Compton.

I hear Obama is busing them in to have them attack white people who didn’t vote for him.
