Was “CIB-1969” taken?
Well, if 69 was going to be illegal anywhere, it would be Utah, wouldn’t it?
…or Kansas, or Alabama, or Georgia, or Mississippi, or Louisiana, or Idaho, or Indiana, or Wyoming…
Not only is Utah one hell of a sexually repressed state, but they’re petty little fuckers too.
Because goodness knows if we don’t have an Index of Forbidden Integers there’ll be even more vulgar naughtiness out there.
Assuming the Purple Heart plate is considered a “Special Group” plate the Utah DMV only allows 5 characters. “CIB-1969” would be seven.
They’re also hypocritical as hell.
Only little REPUG minds would find CIB-69 has sexual connotations.
I earned my CIB in 67 and I say thanks brother I appreciate your service.
Can you see it now? Somewhere in Utah a tyke is in the kitchen pulling on his mommy’s apron strings saying what’s 69 and why can’t the nice man have it? And she’ll say go ask one of your 15 siblings.
Too funny…So Utah has skipped from 1968 to 1970 altogether?
It is a major problem with government at all levels today. To address one asshole doing something stupid, government implements a policy to limit liability then and forever more. Brains throughout the organization get turned off and then everyone is treated like an asshole because, “the policy says so.”
This case needs a review by the human face of government.
So, the Brood Mare State makes the numbers “69” illegal?
Hah. Yeah, I heard that. In fact most of the Southern States, the Bible Belt, with their sexually repressed fundie beliefs have greater rates of teen pregnancy, adultery and porn…and that includes gay porn.
Though the link is a bit old, I would bet my bottom dollar this still holds true:
Seriously…and now we have Faux nuts raving about it as an atrocity something something thanks Obama.
As a Combat Veteran… War is obscene, 69, not so much…
