Ms. Plame is absolutely right, it’s all a message to Manafort, Flynn and Cohen telling them that he will pardon them no matter what.
She still knows how to correctly analyze situations.
What Cheney and Scooter did to her and the IC still pisses me off. A little payback for this latest affront to national security would be just fine.
Yes, and I’m glad she’s weighing in so rationally so quickly after the act. I don’t know how much play this will receive on Fox News, of course, but for consumers of relatively unbiased information it will be good to hear that Scooter Libby did in fact commit a serious f%*^ing crime. And it’s not like there’s real doubt he did it.
She’s right, but I kind of wonder why the pardon wasn’t announced this evening, in the Friday night news hole. It would have been just as strong a message to Manafort and company if it was announced later.
It could be an effort to distract from the Cohen and Russia stuff, but I don’t know. We also have a briefing on Syria coming up, which will also keep the news occupied. I fear we’ll get something bigger announced this evening, like Rosenstein being fired.
I always liked this woman. She said straight out what was happening and never dodged around the truth.
Nicole Wallace said yesterday that George Bush the Dumber commuted his sentence but refused to pardon him because the crimes Scooter committed were so serious. Clearly George Bush had a lot of information which means that Libby did a lot of other egregious crimes than meets the eye. Dick Cheney was apparently livid and unhinged but George was able to rebuff him.
the woman on the left was convicted on the testimony of her own brother - later revealed as a deal to save his own skin
the man on the right was convicted as a spy and traitor
they both died in the electric chair.
a man who did far more damage to this country will wind up here:
“This is about Donald Trump and his future.”
His future involves multiple indictments, handcuffs, and a bag over his head.
I find her to be attractive so therefore I trust and believe in her.
my sense of mores and values and the ability to differentiate between right and wrong is in complete decline since last January.
So the guy who complains about leaks and the deep state and FBI bias against him and Clinton’s emails just pardoned a guy who leaked the single worst thing you can possibly leak: the identity of an undercover agent. That needs to be pointed out and harped on relentlessly.
Which would be really odd because if I understand correctly, 1) a pardon doesn’t prevent a subpoena to testify, 2) a pardon removes any grounds for 5th amendment pleas, and 3) pardons don’t erase evidence related to the pardoned person.
So pardon away, right?
Please let it be plastic…

With a nice tight necklace.
“This is about Donald Trump and his future.”
.I would like to add a ball pit after many pre-schoolers who have consumed many, many juice boxes had a turn in.
On the other hand, from CNN:
But the evidence doesn’t amount to any punishment, correct? Lawyers out there?
