I know that this is small point but, why in the AP story did they describe Khashoggi as a writer when every other piece of reporting I’ve read or heard refers to him as a journalist?

We are the instruments of Saudi power and our foreign and defense policies and military actions always place far more value on Saudi political and wahabbi sunni religious interests than our own homeland security.
