The US military said it had "assisted in the relocation" of embassy staff, using F-16 and MV-22 Osprey aircraft.
Obama is going to be in big trouble for using the military to protect embassy personnel without congressional approval, just like he was in big trouble for not using the military to protect embassy personnel in Benghazi. Can’t wait to see the level of cognitive dissonance that goes into this one.

This could have been avoided if Republicans in Congress properly-funded embassy security.
But they won’t, because tax “expenditures” for multi-millionaires is more important.

No matter what Obama does, its an impeachable offense.
Republicans can’t get over the fact that they lost. And they’ll keep on losing because they’re losers. So, instead of playing by the rules, they’ve got to change them.

Probably not. Its pretty common practice to evacuate an embassy in a war zone. And it sounds like that is what Tripoli is turning into.
