Last I heard DJT is not pleased with the counsel he is getting from Man-Without-Any-Limits Jared and is now thinking maybe Jared and Ivanka need to go away.
Jared was the idiot who bought the Devil’s Building (666 Whatever in NYC) and is probably going to bring down his daddy’s company. And Ivanka is SO glad she got (somehow…but heck she is definitely not an economist) a doubling of the child-care deduction but it turns out families with children are the ones who are going to get punched in the THROAT by the tax bill! Actual HARM to families with children!
So, how does this jive with today’s front page story on the New York Times about how Tillerson is gutting the State Department? Jared is going to single-handedly make peace between Israel and the Palestinians? What next? Trump claiming that he turned down “Man of the Year”? Unpossible…
Shouldn’t we be like encouraging people to take their grievances to the international courts rather than lobbing bombs?
The only reason for denying access is that we know that Netanyahu and his cabinet are bigots who miss no opportunity to kick the Palestinians and then go blub blub blub, they are evil when they respond in kind.
Such strong leadership is truly making America great again. Or maybe a laughingstock. It’s hard to tell some days.

If this gets the Palestinians to drop the United States as a supposedly “honest broker” (and we all know what a laugh that one is), it could be a good thing. The Palestinians need someone with honesty and integrity, who isn’t in thrall to Israel. Maybe France, or the entire EU. Or China.
Oh, it’s not hard at all. People from the NATO and other countries laugh at the United States constantly. Americans don’t hear about it mostly because American popular media is chock full of the sort of mush that softens the brain and the ears over time.
You can’t criticize them for it, really. When people who can think point out how tragically stupid America can be at times, Americans have so little in the way of counter-arguments.

Run for office- the 2018 elections are less than a year away! And if Trump and Louie Gohmert can get elected what’s to stop a qualified candidate?
Become a Precinct Committee Officer, sometimes it’s a Ward officer. You’ll meet with neighborhood Dems and get out the vote. Find good citizens willing to run for office.
Register people to vote. If you need to help people overcome the GOP-led Voter run-around help them do that.
Run for School Board. Make sure Civics is being properly taught. Think a majority of America knows how government works? Just 26% of eligible voters in America voted for Trump and half of eligible voters stayed home last November. Today’s 12-year olds will be voting for President in 8 years.
Run for Mayor, City Council, County Commissioner, Borough Assembly.
Get appointed to your Planning Commission. Know everything going on in your community.
Run for State Legislature or Congress. The next census is in 2020, just over 2 years from now, when we redraw Congressional Districts.
And get rid of GERRYMANDERING! Safe GOP seats gave us such intellectual giants as Louie Gohmert and Steve King. In most cases it’s the state Legislature that draws Congressional boundaries. Make it FAIR, OPEN and HONEST! We can do this!
Overturn Citizens United. Money is NOT speech and Corporations are NOT people- at least not until Texas executes one, and overturn any voter ID laws that are clearly an attempt to disenfranchise the poor and people of color.
