Discussion for article #239814
That should be interesting⌠too bad I wonât watch FOX news.
It sounds like a support group for people who have been abused and brutalized by Trump. Letâs hope its membership does not swell to 319 million.
Whatâs to talk about? They both should be on the road peppering Trump with more questionsâŚhe canât answer.
TPM watches Fox for us so we donât have to!
The two harassed and insulted by Trump coming together should be nice.
Hopefully Donaldâs icing his tweet fingerâŚ
At this point Fox will do almost anything to destroy Trump. But can they? If it comes down to a choice between supporting Trump or following Fox, which way will many right-wingers go?
I hope they talk about Trump alot. I miss that guy.
Moot point. If that choice ever looms, Fox will fall in line behind Trump.
I smell a rat! I fear the honorable Mr. Ramos is walking into a trap. By ambushing him, Kelly and that tub of shit, Roger Ailes, can get back in the good graces of their icon, Donald Trump.
HmmmâŚ
Kelly: âYouâre an immigrantâŚessentially.â ____ On the other hand, if Kelly holds a civil and objective (long shot, I know) conversation with Ramos and it reflects poorly on Trump, it will be a good indication that Ailes is in fact more than a little pissed and is willing to alienate Trump__for the moment⌠and the âdust upâ over The Donaldâs attacks on Kelly has escalated into âkerfuffleâ! (*No war yet. FOX Frankenstein and their Trump Monster are just testing each the otherâs resolve!)
Ramos? Not sure why he would even go to FOX for I donât see the upside for him. Itâs puzzling.
Tomorrow? If Trump feels slighted after the Kelly/Ramos interview, expect return fire! Trump: âI may sue FOX and that anchor baby Ramos and that incompetent news anchor babe Kelly. Iâm very good at it.â
âŚAiles on the left; Trump on the right. ⌠pass the popcorn.
ButâŚIf Ramos gets bitch slapped by Kelly, the fix is in and Ailes has decided to make up with Trump by putting his attack dogs on Ramos. In that case, itâs kissy-kissyâ all better between Ailes and The Donald:
So frustratingly and exasperatingly true.
I donât see any purpose for this other than something which has 100% benefit for Kelly, Ailes and FOX, zero benefit for Ramos
I just watched the opening segment of Bill OâAssholeâŚheâs pinned the fault on Ramos for ambushing Trump. Itâs already starting.
Thatâs it! Ramos should be aware walking in there that thereâs nothing that Trump has said that Fox didnât buy into and promote until now, when they realize that Trumpâs openness about Republican racism threatens their - the oligarchyâs - long term future. They are not to be trusted.
You gotta hand it to him-- Roger Aisles knows what heâs doing.
You need to give Jorge Ramos more credit. Heâs perfectly aware of the Fox alignment, but he is not a stupid or cowardly man. He will transform this opportunity, regardless of the nonsense spewed by Fox newsreaders like OâReilly and Kelly, into a statement of humanity. Ramos is not interested in the Fox audience. He is laying claim to a much larger demographic â Spanish-speaking people who believe in upholding decency and common sense. No one wins the Presidency without a substantial nod from Hispanic and Latino voters. Ramos will leave Trump with no support from that quarter. Game, set, match.
The ReTHUGGs may have a little Dominican in them (at least the Dominican Republic of Rafael Trujillo, who ruled from 1930-1961. In one of his elections he won by a margin of more votes than there were eligible voters).
The G.O.P., is looking to maximize the white male vote. So they can say âscrew youâ to everyone else. And they will have some auxiliary help. Conservative women tend to vote Republican with nearly the same percentages as men. âIndependentsâ are often more Reactionary than Republicans, except for issues dealing with getting high and other personal indulgences.
However, given the hateful nature of the G.O.P., it will need some help in getting Trump (or any G.O.P. candidate) over the top:
(a) Erroneous information concerning times and places for voting
(b) Bands of thugs (ex. âTrue the Voteâ, etc.) intimidating Democratic voters
(c) Limiting voting days and hours
(d) Limiting voting facilities and machines in Democratic areas
(e) Increasing difficulty in registering to vote, including all sorts of I.D, laws
(f) Creative counting of votes
(g) Leading up to the election a massive MSM effort to âmake equivalentâ the parties and candidatesâŚ
for purpose of the Horserace for one and for, quite frankly, G.O.P. interests
Of course (f) above takes us back to Rafael Trujillo. This has been and is a common enough thing in Latin AmericaâŚ
Soon to have a similar degree of familiarity in the United States.
