The GOP doesn’t give that advanced counter face saving until they reach higher state office or Congress. It’s part of their weeding out their crazies program.
I don’t want this guy anywhere close to my underwear, sorry.
Seems like this is apropos:
There’s something happening here
What it is ain’t exactly clear
There’s a man with a gun over there
Telling me I got to beware
I think it’s time we stop, children, what’s that sound
Everybody look what’s going down
There’s battle lines being drawn
Nobody’s right if everybody’s wrong
Young people speaking their minds
Getting so much resistance from behind
It’s time we stop, hey, what’s that sound
Everybody look what’s going down
What a field-day for the heat
A thousand people in the street
Singing songs and carrying signs
Mostly say, hooray for our side
It’s s time we stop, hey, what’s that sound
Everybody look what’s going down
Paranoia strikes deep
Into your life it will creep
It starts when you’re always afraid
You step out of line, the man come and take you away

So glad to hear that! It unnerves me to see people in government say things like that which riles other nutty people up. Glad to see his freedom of speech is protected and his employer is showing it has the freedom to get rid of people who go off the deep end.
Folk just needs to check that your underwear matches your gender on your birth certificate.
Yep, I’m hearing that song in my head, too.
Has he started claiming the right-wing’s favorite response: “I was taken out of context”? Wait for it…
Off shooting somethin’
The idiot wishes he was hung.
He wishes Hillary was hanged.
Morons never get it right.
Knowing now that he is an airline pilot makes my concern for his statements even more serious. We have had enough ‘patriots’ and ‘zealots’ try to fly their airplanes into the White House. They are now dead in a field in Pennsylvania, where true patriots among the passengers forced the plane to crash (United Flight 93) before it could head to Washington to attack the White House. This ‘hyperbolic’ United Pilot should certainly not be allowed to fly anywhere near Washington, if at all.
Please spread that wise, important message, my friend. I’m not into social media. So I don’t have the resources. But I WILL convey such sentiments to United. Please do it.
Ironically, this RWNJ will most likely keep his job through the efforts of the pilots’ union, even though unions = evil to the RWNJ mind.
Very good. “Fired for exercising his First Amendment rights.” “A victim of political correctness gone wild.”
PLEASE, everybody, spread xyxox’s message as widely as possibly. We don’t fly United Airlines until this unstable, dangerous man is terminated. I will convey that message TO United. Please, please do the same and disseminate this appeal! Thank you.
You know @darrtown I really don’t know what it’ll take to change whatever ails this country. I’m old enough to remember the 60’s when American society thought that we were airing our dirty laundry, addressing it and trying to find cures. Apparently not.
In so many ways that just leave me gobsmacked, we’re back where we were decades ago with little to show for the struggles we went through back then. To make matters worse, we now have “reality tv” to contend with which appears to have created an aura of acceptability to some of the most repulsive elements of our society.
Yes indeed. My brother-in-law was a helicopter pilot in the Marines and became a pilot with TWA for over 30 years and he was a staunch right winger
@brooklndweller
I know how you feel, but in reality we are not back to where we started in so many many ways even though it may feel that way. The racists never went away. They have always been here and unfortunately the election of our first Black president has put more sunshine on them. But we could never have elected a black man as president in the 60s nor the first woman president.
How about fire his ass? He is clearly unstable and a danger to the flying public.
well, fox says it’s so. no need to look further.
I’m a retired pilot. Were I employed by United I would refuse to fly with him. I hope many sensible United pilots do take that course of action.
