I hear you, and frequently think along similar lines.
The words coming from the faceholes of many a Democrat sound really good. Unaccompanied by acts, they are worse than nothing.
I’m not convinced this isn’t the typical shell game style of old school, go-along-to-get-along Democrats, and I thinks it’s going to take a few more primary wins like AOC’s before they absorb the message that results are expected and failure will be punished at the ballot box. Heck, even now the DNC is doing anything they can to protect incumbents regardless of their record.
Well, there is that to consider. Nah, subpoena the bum anyway (maybe a trail of Sweet’N’Low packets could be left for him to follow)

Maybe that’s because it’s important we avoid losing too many seats for the time being? Like because our republic and way of life is on the line here?

JAIL this rat bastard turtle!
Haul Ross by subpoena then court.
And get out and PROTEST and VOTE! This is not gonna end, ever, if the people don’t respond in person, in huge numbers, and repeatedly. Our current corrupt system’s blockade will respond only to that.
Being proactive to prevent upsets like AOC’s doesn’t accomplish that. It only preserves the status quo. No Republican was going to win that seat and there are many like it that could seat better, more progressive Democrats.
Issue a subpoena and perp walk this penis into the hearing.
Yes we still have to try. We must use every tool, every law, every method available. And when Don the Con and his Roy Cohen block or obstruct we have to call them on it over and over until the 2020 elections and beyond.
Ultimately Vox populi will make the ultimate decision.
It would be nice to think that’s true. But ‘Vox populi’ voted for Hillary. By more than two million ‘voxes’.
It’s the Vox Oligarchia that seems to have its hands on the levers.
That’s why stalling until the illusion of a free vote ‘settles’ things - is the plan for the Republicans.
They don’t believe in free and fair elections.
