Turns out the definition of exceptionalism is the ability to invent reasons to demonstrate one’s superiority over everyone else. An exceptional quality, indeed!
On the other hand, most UN committees should be renamed “the American-Funded Committee to constantly slag America”.
More fodder for conservatives to gin up hate for the UN.

Well that totally ought to make American conservatives see the error of their views. Can’t think of anything better calculated to make them rethink their positions.
Tasers were sold to the public as the police alternative to guns. They were designed to be used in lieu of a gun, not a baton, not as a compliance tool, not as punishment because the suspect “mouthed off”, and not as a threat for not cooperating. They are designed to use in place of a gun. The fact that the police consider them compliance devices should be considered torture pure and simple.
