Congress enacted legislation in August 2012 that denies visas for
Iranian citizens to study in the U.S. if they plan to participate in
coursework for a career in the energy or nuclear fields in Iran

Because, as you know, the U.S. is the only place were nefarious Iranians could possibly receive that education. --eye roll–

Aren’t we trying to restrict the Iranian nuclear program? If so why are we educating Iranian nationals? This doesn’t make any sense. Either they are on our good side or they are not.
