dripdripdripdripdrip…
They’ll be a hot time in Moscow-West, I mean the White House, tonight.
501 computers in Belize?
This seems like a fact worthy of refutation by Presidential tweet.
Be careful. These documents need to be corroborated.
Where’s uk_observer to observe that the Democrats are really going to have egg on their face when all this trumped-up Russia talk comes to nothink, nothink I tells you! I think I’ll just sit down under a tree and wait.
Meantime Manafort and the Trumpers will make light of this just-business transaction. Over here we think of money-laundering as not quite the thing but there, everybody does it and no one thinks the worse of you.
This story is already in the NYT and WP. Okay now, so where’s Trump’s distracting Tweet? Hey, there’s no distracting Tweet. What’s up with that?
This was all stuff we already knew, nothing new here, it’s just relitigating misundertandings long explained, Benghazi, electoral college, best words.
This is probably the primary reason Trump does not want to release his tax returns. He laundered the oligarchs’ corruption monies. There are now over 100 billionaires in Russia where there were none just 20 years ago. This is the Putin windfall monies that have to be laundered somewhere, and finding a western capitalist to help does not come cheaply.
Edit- We already know about the one case in which an oligarch bought a Trump FL estate for $98,000,000 a short time after Trump bought it for $40,000,000 and has never stayed there even one night. The dots may be connected here even more quickly than Watergate.
More good news.
Meantime, good on Schumer:
I looked at his twitter feed so nobody else had to. He’s talking about keeping KY safe and great again and about going to Capitol Hill to discuss his winning numbers and to push his trump care less bill. All in a day’s work. Oh, and a spawn and wife are bringing yet another trumpee into the world.
@maximus The other daughter has a world class jewelry store named after her.
@the_loan_arranger The lying liar and the lies he tells. Also showing off he knows how to use represented and respected in an incoherent statement.
“People knew that he represented various countries, but I don’t think he represented Russia, but represented various countries,” trumppee said at a news conference in February. “That’s what he does. People know that. That’s Mr. Manafort, by the way, a respected man, a respected man, but I think he represented the Ukraine or Ukraine government or somebody, but everybody knew that.”
Spicer tried to distance Manafort from the Trump campaign in a press briefing on Monday, saying he played “a very limited role for a very limited amount of time.”
After all, he was only Campaign Chairman.
I’m surprised Spicer even recognized the name…
In exchange, Putin agreed to let America be renamed Ivankastan.
I suspect money laundering is the crux of everything. Trump is nothing if not venal.
Thankfully for us he’s also stupid.
@irasdad. I say again, there’s a bus in Manafort’s future.
Something is fishy for sure. 501 computers to Belize? 501 pigs or coconuts I could believe, but computers? C’mon!!
Interesting to note that over on Salon that was plagued my some of the worst trollery on the planet switched to a Facebook Login that lo and behold links to Facebook and reveals your true identity. Suddenly the trolls a few and far between because they are ashamed of their true identities.
Why if mom and dad found out they might cut their allowance
What keeps coming up for me is the Russian’s swaggering about all their cyber superiority and how they are determined to humiliate and make heel the US and other Western countries by using it.
I just find it hard to believe that our country and some of the other Western countries can’t counter that stuff with far superior cyber skills. If we were caught off guard this time, I feel pretty confident that the US especially will devise a cyber retaliation that will be an epic smack down. I just can’t see Russia maintaining any cyber superiority when our techies have to be far, far better.
