I don’t know why institutions like Berkeley invite people like Coulter and Yiannopoulos in the first place, but I’m sure I don’t understand why any venue would be shy about banning trolls. Popularity matters in elections sure, but when it becomes the measure of meaning, democracy fails. Somehow we regularly lose sight of that distinction.
