Discussion: U.S. To Hit Russia With New Sanctions For Aiding Syria's Assad

Hmmm, I wonder if Putin’s response will be to release the pee tapes or at least indicate that may happen if the US keeps the pressure on Russia.

I’m sure Putin has tons of incriminating details to drop on Tweetolini, once he figures out his investment in Dotard, has gone bankrupt…

Let’s wait and see what the sanction are, and whether they’re more meaningful than the airstrikes…

Does anyone recall the strike on the Syrian air base? Not one hit on the runway. Perfectly coordinated with Vlad. Sorry donnie, wagging this dog fools only hardcore Trumpkins.

We will need to monitor communications from Moscow. Tis wher e donnie gets his instructions.

I seem to recall that all the Syrian planes that were airworthy were flown to other air bases before the strike because the Dotard warned Putin what we were going to do. Only planes that could not fly were damaged and the air base was back in operation three days later. Sounds like the pentagon has adapted the administrations " alternative facts "policy.

Does Donnie really think he’s fooling anyone?

So what do we have to show from the two airstrikes? This clown warned the Russians and Syrians both times. Anyone think they didn’t move critical infrastructure ahead of both?

Now some nebulous ‘sanctions’ that may or may not ever be actually carried out? Watch … there will be an announcement and zero actual implementation.

Seeming more and more like treason every day.

That’s a question I ask myself a lot. And the only answer I have is that it helps keep his believers believing in spite of the evidence, just like most religious groups. I used to think maybe it helped him keep believing too, but I just can’t bring myself to think he doesn’t know that pretty much everything he says is a lie and he’s only trying to convince his followers, not himself, also like most religious group leaders.

Yep, and it goes without saying (but I’ll say it anyway, because when has that stopped me?), that these sanctions are just more fakery and misdirection from the Trumpster – they are sanctions on individuals and individual companies, but STILL no imposition of the broad sanctions against Russia overwhelmingly approved by Congress that were signed into LAW.

Asked about Trump’s “Mission Accomplished” assertion, White said it pointed to the successful targeting of the three Syrian chemical weapons sites.
Apparently “Mission Accomplished” was based on at least 3% of the missiles hitting facilities as big as a city block. Talk about low bars. Not, based on degradation of capability, not based on deterrent effect or even on destruction of stocks. Read somewhere that all you need to make sarin or chlorine gas was a basic laboratory, so “accomplishment” is now defined as the ability to hit paper targets. woo…hoo
