The second suspect arrested has not been identified
So Clayton is spilling beans, eh? God, I hope it’s a McDaniel associate. Or that it leads to one.
It seems to be getting nastier than ever in Mississippi. So far, the McDaniel campaign seems to be outside of the flying fecal matter. But this is Mississippi, so who knows how much will get flung their way.
It’s not at all clear how Mayfield was involved. Kelly must be spilling the beans.
Conservatives are such Lovely People.
Boehner said the Tea Party and the Republican Party are the same.
Am I the only one wondering when a pic of Kelly sleeping in his jailhouse bunk is going to show up?
As much as I dislike Thad Cochran’s stances on issues, these teabagger thugs arejust downright evil.
Teabaggers are the kind of Americans that make the whole world jealous of our national character. And their devotion to doing what’s right, their perfect expression of the kind of attitude Jesus wants us to have…just makes me want to surrender all my librul college degrees, ask Baby Jeezus into my heart, and become exactly the sort of kind, loving, tolerant Christian that they themselves are.
“Nastier than ever” in Mississippi has in the past meant bodies hanging from trees. This is tame by the standards of that uncivilized territory.
The police have Kelly’s computer, so if he was getting anonymous tips, like his wife said, they may know more at this point about who was involved than he does himself.
I still wonder who in the heck thought this would help take down Cochran? Even if it does turn out he 'travels" with a female aide most people are less likely to judge that at harshly if the spouse has been out of the picture for years.
This is just dirty.
I’m no fan of Sen. Cochran, but this is beyond disgusting. I hope that Clayton Kelly and his co-conspirators get the proverbial book thrown at them in sentencing.
This is gonna be a blast!
“…the second arrest on Thursday in connection to the “Constitutional Clayton” photographing case was Richard Sager of Laurel.”
This is just so disgustingly reprehensible. I wish there were harsher penalties for this, or at the very least, throw the biggest book possible at all of them.
There have to be some moral boundaries somewhere.
Yes, well – it’s early in the election year yet. Give 'em time.
Leave it to Mississippi to be the birthplace and death place of the Tea Bagger party. As they used to say, don’t ever wrestle with pigs; you get all muddy and the pigs like it.
“The district attorney in Madison, Mississippi, Michael Guest, told the state’s WAPT Channel 16 news that he did not believe the McDaniel campaign is directly involved.”
Can we wait until after the examination of the indirect evidence?
The district attorney of … already has made his conclusions, before evidence is presented… let’s remember, it’s Mississippi.
It will be a wonderfully ironic turn of events if “Constitutional” Clayton’s jackassery ends up insuring Cochran’s victory.
