Discussion: Tucker Carlson Thinks Booker Is Proof That White Supremacy Is NBD

“If white supremacy were a huge problem in America, how did Cory Booker become a senator?” Carlson pondered.

What’s the difference between “white supremacy” and Tucker Carlson?

One of them is a joke you should laugh at.

Then stupid is it’s own excuse for being.

C’mon, Carlson. Read your history - white supremacy was erased as a problem in 1966, when Massachusetts elected Edward Brooke to the Senate. /s

This is a line of reasoning that may someday come to be called “Inhofe’s Snowball.”

That’s quite an extrapolation, even for a Republican. So Doug Jones is irrefutable proof that Alabama is not deep red. Now Tuck should look for the same level of credibility to prove that Republicans are not dumb and anti-science.

Hey Tucker, nobody is denying that the US has made great progress, it is just that we have so much farther to go.

So white supremacy will only be a problem when no person of color is any longer able to be in a position to point out that it is a problem. Got it.

Brilliant, Tucker! I guess that means the election of Hiram Revels to the Senate in 1870 means segregation and lynchings never happened.

If America didn’t give every advantage to privileged white males, then Tucker Carlson would be talking to himself in the mirror of a Motel 6 bathroom rather than at all of us from in front of a t.v. camera.

As if the success of a relative handful of black people erases the fact that black children are far more likely to be born into poverty and stay there, imprisoned by prison, or stunted by overcrowded, underfunded schools, where white supremacists like Betsy DeVoss plot to siphon off their tax dollars and give them to well off whites already sending their kids to private school.

How often to you see a viral video of cops beating or shooting white people, Tucker? When was the last time you saw someone harassed or arrested for shopping, moving, sitting in Starbucks or selling lemonade while white?

If you want to claim white supremacy is not a problem, Tucker, stop being a hero to white supremacists, who love you because you spread their message. And tell your friends to stop protecting the statues of other white supremacists.

What a pig.

You spelled his first name wrong. It begins with an F.

“The great enemy of truth is very often not the lie–deliberate, contrived and dishonest–but the myth–persistent, persuasive and unrealistic. Too often we hold fast to the cliches of our forebears. We subject all facts to a prefabricated set of interpretations. We enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought." – John F. Kennedy [Commencement Address at Yale University, June 11 1962]

…and that ‘statement’ did not show an IOTA of ‘white supremacy’ did it Tuck? How NICE of you to ‘allow’ Cory Booker to be elected.

Gawd; he sounds like the idiots sitting in the back of 7th grade MATH class taught by the PE teacher…always ready with a “Huh?” response.

The GOP must defend racism since it is part of its electoral strategies.

“America has given Cory Booker amazing opportunities …”

Did Carlson actually say that? How white of him.

Was it yesterday or earlier today, where Tuck was giving advise on foreign affairs? And now advise on race. Just another asshole with a platform. He’s sooo pathetic I don’t even get mad.

Tucker, by your version of “reasoning” everybody should be a billionaire by now. Tucker, I could take you to bars where I grew up in Southern Ohio where the patrons would think you a prissy east coast liberal elitist and you’d be lucky to get out with your coat and tie intact. They know you work for Fox. They still think you’re a liberal. One of THEM!!
