Thing is, conservatives really do believe that the existence of two billionaires who are largely pursuing issue-oriented rather than directly political agendas these days truly do more than counterbalance the 800+ multihundred million to multi-billionaires in the Koch network, Peter Theil’s ratfuckery, 80% of the Big Finance money, and Rupert Murdoch’s privately funded propaganda machine.
Granted, a conservative is almost definitionally a person who requires very little in the way of narrative to keep their biases confirmed and cognitive dissonance at bay.
