Discussion: Trump's Son-In-Law Emerges As Quiet Force

Oh puh-leeze. This is just further indication of how utterly unprepared–to say nothing of unsuited–this “billionaire’s” [tm] klan of entitled assholes is to actually run a successful campaign in the general. Fuck Kushner and the Trump Klan.

"Kushner’s growing influence in recent weeks, as described by several people with direct knowledge of his role, has included the selection and vetting of potential running mates, planning for his father-in-law’s transition to the White House, the campaign’s nascent push to incorporate voter data into its strategy, fundraising, and the development of major policies. "

A real renaissance man. In just a few weeks transitioning from no involvement or interest in politicis to choosing a major party’s VP, putting together a transition plan for rest of the Cabinet, developing a ground up data analytics plan for a major party, fundraising, laying down “major policy”…and still keeping a smile on Ivanka’s face.

Or, seeing that its an unsourced story, its complete fluff bullshit.

Hmmm…its so hard to tell.

“Others described Kushner, while inexperienced, as a mild-mannered and valuable presence with helpful connections. . . across the Jewish community.” And what Jewish community would that be? Sheldon Adelson’s synagogue? I, an active member of the “Jewish community,” can attest to the fact that it is a diverse one, with no one religious or political spokesperson, many of whose members are increasingly resentful of people like Adelson and the Kushners passing themselves off as some sort of mouthpiece for all of us. He is no more representative or locked into the universe that comprises the “Jewish community” imagined by this article than Bernie Sanders or Josh Marshal are, or, to push a Trumpist metaphor, a Jewish rapist.

Handsome young and bright.

So Jared has some friends and actual skills. I hope his taste of politics this summer will help him guide his father in law back to the obscurity he richly deserves.

Ivanka is the daughter Trump wants to fuck, right?

Start making some sense.

Well, my goodness, if this young man isn’t just the perfect son-in-law for Donnie. I am surprised he hasn’t adopted him…

(I know, I know, sins of the fathers should not necessarily be visited on the sons, but, criminy, imagine what he grew up with. Also: it’s all a bit too creepy, isn’t it? Like Ivanka found a young Daddy-Ersatz and married him.)

Exactly what I was thinking.

How does poor Donald constantly find himself surrounded by white supremacists and other garden variety racists, mob officials, and now even his insider son in law is one degree of separation away from major felony convictions?

Oh, but the Clinton’s are the ones with skeletons.

Orthodox Jews? Hardly.

The younger Kushner later became the publisher of the New York Observer, a Manhattan-based newspaper read largely for its high society and real estate coverage.

Good lord, how can you ignore the fact that the Observer is an active peddler of the “Indictments would be coming any day now if it weren’t for Obama” horsecrap? It’s a complete house organ for TrumpCo.

The Jewish community may be best characterized by the saying, “If you ask ten Jews, you’ll get eleven opinions.”

A rookie! Oh, goody! This will cheer Democrats, if we need cheering.

Maybe, maybe despite his inexperience in politics, he can help put a competent campaign together, but jeez, there doesn’t seem to be a single first-class campaign operative on the team. Media accounts indicate that Trump is having trouble attracting a communications director (no surprise there) and perhaps others. The lack of funding, the lack of candidate discipline, the ugliness of the candidate’s messaging–all of these combine to help explain why the son in law has become a key player.

Right, obviously an in-law.

His campaign also seems to be broke, so self funding is out of the question. Many of the reliable wealthy republican donors who in the past have given millions to Rs have said they won’t be giving him money. Wall St. investors are very wary of trump’s economic policies which they believe will be terrible for the economy, foreign policies, his stance on immigration, etc. Others in the very wealthy cohort believe he’s degraded politics too much to support him.

He Is “playing an active role in virtually every aspect of the New York real estate magnate’s presidential bid…”. Has he tried to tell Donald to quit saying stupid stuff?.
