Discussion: Trump's New Healthcare Policy Staffer Thinks Birth Control Causes Abortions

Why don’t we just get right to the republican dystopic goal:

Sex causes abortion. If we ban women from having sex there will be no more abortions.

In Trump’s defense, he has to scrape the bottom of the barrel to get people to work for him.

Thanks for pointing out that she is an epidemiologist not a doctor. This needs to be repeated every time she speaks.

This isn’t funny but I was LMAO at this. This broad is such a crank, it’s crazy.

EDIT TO ADD:

“Preventing a fertilized egg (i.e. after conception) from hunkering down in the wall of the uterus, where it can grow normally,” she wrote. “Progestin in birth control thins the endometrial lining (uterine wall), but a fertilized egg needs a thick, fluffy, blood-rich uterine wall to attach to and begin growth. Without it, the embryo can’t survive, and a miscarriage occurs.”

This sh*t is SO bizarre, as the saying goes, it’s not even wrong. What she’s really describing is the pill called Plan B. if you take it within 48 hrs (?) of unprotected sex, it may prevent an early stage embryo from implanting itself in the uterine wall. I’ve heard that in some cases, if a woman takes two birth control pills after unprotected sex, it might have the same effect.

That is NOT A MISCARRIAGE. Nope. Sorry. It’s just a collection of cells that aren’t attaching the uterine wall and that ALL it is.

"Preventing a fertilized egg (i.e. after conception) from hunkering down in the wall of the uterus,

Hunkering down?, What is she talking about? Is this a zygote or North Korea?

Um, Tillis is a senator from North Carolina and not South Carolina.

Thick; fluffy; eggs. I do believe I’m in the mood for an omelette au fromage.

But then aren’t you preventing the second coming, or the first, of the Messiah? How will the Xtianists know the End Times have finally drawn nigh?

What, not even against their will?

In addition, this also sounds pretty “nutsy fagan” to me:

'Let’s say your life stage changes and you’re ready to try to have a baby," she wrote. “You go off the Pill or the intrauterine device or whatever you’re taking. It takes a few months for the effects of the birth control to wear off and then you’re good to go, right? Wrong.”

I can see if a woman was on the Pill for a long time and wanted to get pregnant immediately there would be issues. But even then, we’re only talking some women. As for the IUD, I can’t really see why there would be a problem with conception once it’s removed. Any GYN’s here?

The Trump transition team also announced that masturbating causes hair to grow on your palms and that icebergs are not a hazard to navigation.

Good point; they have no reputation to really lose.

The bottom of the barrel would be a vast improvement over this dimwit.

Talento had maintained an active Twitter presence until the Federalist article was circulated in 2015, promoting the piece on birth control as well as firing off tweets about “transgenderism” and “a black man trapped in a white body.”

I’m speechless at this point. Crazier than a shithouse rat.
