I wonder if one of the disgruntled delegates to the Rules Committee will add “all financial accounting must be up to date before a candidate can be named?” And there should be flow charts and an overhead projector. If not then we can definitely conclude that fiscal responsibility is not a Republican attribute.

If Trump is putting out a numerically fuzzy news release about his fundraising, then the release is a lie - there’s no reason to put it out this close to the release of official FEC numbers unless the official numbers are bad and Trump wants an alternate, publicly released, set of numbers to point at when talking to supporters and donors - and to point at when he’s projectingly calling journalists and other critics liars.

You know, cabchi, if your hypothesis is correct then I think that Trump’s Big Plan™ is to hobble/crawl along, wreaking as much havoc as possible each and every day, until he wraps up the nomination and then give enough “cause” for him to get the GOP boot - his lies on his FEC filing, the kiddie rape suit in NY, KKK at the convention - who knows what his circus will include. He can then claim he WON! and that he got the MOST VOTES! and that the system is RIGGED!
This gives Trump the cover he desperately needs to get out the race as a “winner” and be able to blame someone else for his clear failings. His ego won’t let him quit nor will it allow him to stay in only to LOSE to a WOMAN so he needs a plan that is simple enough for a kindergartener to follow.
