“I like to think I’ve matured as a thinker, writer and a person,”
And I like to think you’re an avaricious liar with ambitions beyond her competence.
Where do they find these people? If we tried pitching any of these scenarios to Hollywood, we’d be laughed out of the room because they’re just too unbelievable…
If I’m not mistaken, this woman was in the audience during the Kavanaugh hearings with a permanent scowl on her face.

Isn’t that her right behind Condi Rice?
And another just over Don McGann’s shoulder:
What has climate change to do with a judge nomination? Is this going to be asked of every government appointee from now on?
Perhaps not avaricious. Federal Appeals Court judgeships don’t pay THAT well.
Apparently, she is a staunch defender of dwarf-tossing. No little thing.

Add to that list Neomi Rao, Trump’s nominee to replace Brett Kavanaugh on the powerful DC Circuit, who has written at least two law review articles and a blog post in which she defended dwarf-tossing.
Hey, dwarves have the right to earn a living, too.
"Rao, 45, worked in the George W. Bush White House but has never tried a case in state or federal court."
welcome back 2017
But it’s just a short-term job.
Federalist Society
Of course this is stupid. No American has the right to know what a judge nominee might think or rule on any lawsuits wherein climate change is at issue. Same goes for abortion, voting rights, marriage laws, the 2nd Amendment, LGBT rights, hell, come to think of it, anything at all. MYOB, Americans, and let the damned judges figure things out without your nosy questions.
I’ve always preferred bench pressing circus midgets myself.
She seems like the perfect Republican judge.
Democrats are judgmental, but Republicans are judges.
“President Donald Trump’s nominee to replace Brett Kavanaugh on a high-profile appeals court…”
“Rao, 45, worked in the George W. Bush White House but has never tried a case in state or federal court.”
“The American Bar Association said Monday it has deemed Rao “well-qualified” for the appeals court.”
OK …
“have only recently added sexuality to the standard checklist of traits requiring tolerance.”
She’s just mad that ignorance, bigotry and narrow-mindedness aren’t on the list.
Damn. I canceled membership after Kavanaugh so I can’t do it again.
Maybe some Senator needs to give her that handy test of common legal terms used in court, see if she knows her stuff or is another “quick learner”?
Translation: She was told not to say these things at the time and thought it made her provocative, but she now understands that these are Inside Thoughts that you can only talk about in private while paying lip service to the evil liberals who control reality with Political Correctness.
Seriously, I can forgive people who made these sort of mistakes in 80’s and prior, because that’s how people were raised and we didn’t know any better. But by the early 90’s, anyone who still held on to the old ways was a victim-blaming contrarian who should be disqualified from life. Her attitude made sense in 1964, but was offensive by 1994 and she knew it. She just wanted to stick it to liberals for daring to complain about injustice, just like all conservatives do.
