No kidding. There was nothing at all in the article to support the headline, “…Inspires Parental Outrage”. Really? I saw no mention of that in the article. One milquetoast quote from a Democratic Senator? That’s not ‘inspired parental outrage’!!

As a Mormon with a son in Boy Scouts my reply to you is to get bent. I am not a Trumpanzee and I am offended by his actions. One group supports Trump and that is deplorables and they come in all groups.

Despite their tepid objections, the BSA would love nothing more than to become the Trump Youth Corps, readying their righteous young men to “do Trump’s work” and MAGA.
The path America is on right now is as obvious as can be. Anyone who fails to see it is complicit i the process.

Yes, that struck me too. So odd. Unaware of his surroundings or his audience. It’s as if standing in front of a large crowd triggers some primal instinct in him to regurgitate all the high points of his life, to launch into a self-congratulatory mantra and repeat his favorite phrases in no particular order, relevant or not.
I’d be very surprised if the BSA does not repudiate this weird and completely inappropriate rant. How embarrassing for them.

He starts out by swearing in front of young kids and then segues into reminiscing about coke fueled orgies in 1970’s New York society. Surreal obscenity aside: how can any alleged Christian countenance such disgraceful antics? We know Trump is sick and incapable of taming his demons but what’s their excuse? Parents who allow their children to remain scouts after this clearly have no values to speak of.
