Not a “witch hunt”, eh?

Well, you can kiss THAT job goodbye, you filthy librul.

Here’s hoping this guy continues the post-Hoover tradition of presidents deeply regretting their FBI director picks.

Post-Hoover, because during Hoover there was no choice, but probably still regret…

I wonder what Donnie Two Scoops was bolting down when he choked upon hearing that on the tube. Ice cream? Well done steak and ketchup? Taco bowl? "Royale with cheese?

WRAY: This isn’t a witch hunt, it’s a warlock hunt.

“And will you resign when it’s shown that you are just telling us what we want to hear?..I mean, IF it’s shown that you are just telling us what we want to hear?”

In short he is answering all of the questions appropriately.

Well if Russian Mob Lawyer Chris Wray says so, then that’s good enough for me.

(/snark)

Now… would this guy say anything to get the position and then turn out to be a total partisan hack?

Cut the bullshit. Ask this guy if he will RECUSE himself from the Russia investigation. Do NOT confirm him unless he will. Period.

Signed, the American People.

Time to pull this guy and nominate Eric.

Anyone else get monstrously irritated by Lindsey Graham – more than usual, I mean – and his refusal to let Chris Wray answer a fucking question? Wray would get 2 or 3 words out in response to a Graham question and Graham would be instantly off on another question.

Christ Almighty, let the man answer!

I would imagine that within the FBI, Mr. Mueller will have far more supporters than Mr. Wray, just in the event that Mr. Wray is confirmed and begins to wander off the straight and narrow…

Beyond that, I can’t imagine why ANYONE would take ANY type of position in Donnie’s Fourth Reich…

Welp, my question to Mr Wray would be.“Mr Wray, in your meeting with trump concerning your potential appointment as FBI director … (pregnant pause here) … did Mr trump ever at any time ask you to pledge personal loyalty to him as opposed to loyalty to the Constitution and the FBI as an institution?”

Witch Hunt huh? Pretty low bar to comment on. Got anything beyond the superficial to report on with this guy? If that’s the best they got out of this hearing, that’s not very impressive.

How much you wanna bet Graham Cracker will vote to confirm this guy. tRump picked him. They will show fealty to him by voting for him, lock, stock and barrel. That’s already in the bag. Its just a matter of how many Dems will cross over to vote for this guy and then be shocked later that he wasn’t what they believe he was built up to be, or surprised when he does something unprecedented and unexpected.

Well, obviously he’s not going to say it’s a witch hunt until he’s confirmed. But you can take it to the bank that he’s already sworn the loyalty oath and kissed Trump’s ring, otherwise he’d never have been nominated.

And no one jumped in to admonish him and direct him to let the witness answer the question? Oh, wait…he’s not Kamala Harris.
