Discussion: Trump's Baker Says She Was Commissioned To Copy Obama Cake

Well, ACA was a tribute to a Heritage Foundation plan, so we’re even. But only if I can take an axe Trump’s cake.

If only Trump would replicate Obama’s policies, too.

Best part of it is that most of the cake was foam, unlike the original.

So just like the rest of Trump’s gaudy things, it’s all just an illusion of actual grand stuff.

Bankrupt businessman with delusions of grandeur.

Pathetic!

That Trump has found himself copying certain elements of the Obamas is interesting, in that he, like many of his supporters, don’t appear to have many original thoughts.

ETA: I had previously noted that the DC baker might not have credited Duff, because the Instagram image was distorted. She did credit him and I stand corrected.

The baker of the original, copied cake should handle this situation exactly as Trump would:

sue!

I wonder what other delicious items of Obama’s, he envies?

The Trump administration will become famous for its defining feature:

segregation plagiarism now, segregation plagiarism tomorrow, segregation plagiarism forever”

No reason to be original on this point either.

…maybe their twisted logic is, that they get to eat it, too?

This has become macabre.

Trump spent most of his facetime with the CIA a short while ago revising history… he said he had 1,5 million at the inauguration, he’s desperate to make reality match his delusion.

Trump’s seriously ill, it isn’t a joke, his egomania could melt into megalaDONomania at the slightest provocation.

His shallowness, or lack of depth, however posed, is embarrassingly apparent to so many who only saw his carnival-barking campaign.

In the real world, “President Trump” is a walking punchline.

The inauguration speech trump claims to have written was actually written by Steve Bannon, according to the WSJ.

It’s also widely considered the worst inaguration speech in US history.

I believe his Photoshop buddies in the Kremlin are hard at work even now editing all of the inauguration photos to reflect the 1.5 million attendees.

That’s because the Networks all ran the dubbed version.

It sounded far better in the original German.

To be fair, they did ask for a mini hammer & sickle to be added -which completely alters the flavor.

I think the baker did a fine job of explanation and love the donation of the proceeds…which, of course, presupposes that the baker will be paid. Considering that the request to be copied has been outed, i’m guessing they won’t be paid at all. :frowning:

It sounds like the donation came after finding out who they plagiarized from.

Apologies after being caught are always less sincere. They should have refused to copy it in the first place.

CAKEGATE!

The man doesn’t have an original idea in his head, all he is is a copycat. Even (Bannon’s) speech tried to rip off Obama’s “this is our moment, this is our time” from his 2008 campaign.

All you have to do is look at the decor of his hotels to know that all he can do is copy stuff other people have already built, and then slap HIS name on it. A monumental DUD.
