On a far, far smaller note, my wife is scheduled to attend a medical conference in Chicago. The site hotel is the Trump International Hotel and Tower. My wife informed the group that she will stay at another hotel, at her own expense.

It takes guts and principal to do this. There’s a young lady that had her heart set on participating in that pageant but will stay home in Mexico. God bless her for her patriotism. Perhaps she’ll get a shot at another pageant and I hope she wins it.

What an idiot. His line is that he was attacking the country and not the people? How is that going to help anything? He’s clearly wrapped so tight in a bubble that he doesn’t realize that Mexican people might actually like their country. And his proper response should have been the opposite, that he loves Mexico and the Mexican people, but that there are certain ones that are the problem.
This is what happens when blowhard bullies finally reach the limits of their ability to bully people. I’m sure he’ll continue to imagine he’s the one with all the cards long after he’s lost the battle.

I think Carlos Slim can outdo NBC on defending themselves. He’ll probably only sue some small talk show host. Because he’s a bully.
Good for her. Probably doubly so because I wouldn’t be suprised to see the workforce that he hires being a little slower, a little less organized, etc. then normal.
