Discussion: Trump: 'Yes' Robert Mueller Acted Honorably

So it was an honorable witch-hunt? I’m confused…

There is always the problem when a person like Trump gives credit for honor, valor, heroism, honesty and such. He is so unfamiliar with any of those traits.

The recipient of such praise just has to note it and get on with their day. They know the praise is an empty offering.

Oh well.

The war continues.

According to South Carolina’s senior senator, it was actually both things.

Great. Now we can get on with … what, exactly? I am consoling myself with the thought that as stoic, decent, honorable, blah blah Robert Mueller is, he’s not having a great day. And being praised by this POS isn’t exactly a feather in one’s cap, which he knows.

I have to admit, I was truly hoping that immediately after Barr waxed poetic on the beauty and honor of Donald J. Trump, that SDNY would have immediately pulled a “Manafort” on Donnie, and hit him with 16 or more non-pardonable indictments.

I know, patience, grasshopper…

“Trump: ‘Yes’ Robert Mueller acted honorably.”

Boy is he gonna be surprised when Mueller testifies in front of Congress!

That’s how it usually ends, but that middle though…

Always about the moment with Trump. I still remember when Trump praised Comey during the last week of the campaign- after he reopened Hillary’s emails.

When I want Chump’s take on honor you will know I need to be put away. Just like his opinion on traitors, criminals, husbands, wives, marriage or anything else.

How are we supposed to know whether he did … or not?

Release the report.

After 2 years of near daily abuse, name calling and insults hurled at Mueller by trump it’s my opinion that trump owes Mueller a heartfelt apology. Then trump should go sit on a petard that’s got a lit fuse.

2800+ subpoenas
37 people and entities charged
199 criminal counts
5 people to be sentenced
2 in prison (1 already and 1 shortly).
500 witnesses
13 foreign gov’t inquiries…

Welp, I think trump is up to his eyeballs in pig slop. Sooner or later the truth will emerge.
I did a lot of complex scientific writing in serious science journals. Barr’s “summary” of Mueller’s report is the work of a hack attempting a white wash.

A person with no honor cannot decide what is honorable. No honor, no shame, no dignity, no truth. This is just more bilge draining from the orange man’s mouth.

Wait till he appears before Congress.

On the face of it, Mueller choked. He undermined the whole point of his office by punting the key conclusions into the lap of the political hacks. He has a lot of explaining to do if he wants to retain his reputation. As matters stand, he appears no different from the other Republicans: when it came to show time, when it came to standing up to Trump and the GOP in order to do the right thing, he failed.

I would have thought Mueller had more spine.
