“Going on the record should outweigh the anonymous sources. I was in the room,” McMaster said. “It didn’t happen.”

I’d love to see one of them return the favor and yank the rug from on top of his head.

As I posted earlier:

Step 1: Do/say something egregious to change the media story line…
Step 2; Have your communications wraiths deny or spin it.
Step 3: Undercut your communications wraiths
Step 4: Get pissed because the narrative isn’t going your way.
Step 5: Return to Step 1.

Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

After working overtime Monday to quell a political firestorm ignited by reports that the President disclosed highly classified information to senior Russian diplomats, Trump promptly threw everyone who came to his defense under the bus, acknowledging in a pair of tweets that he shared “facts” with his visitors from the Kremlin.

Tired of all the winning yet?

Might be better to quit, take a job as a Basque shepherd in Montana or any place far far from media scrutiny and write a children’s book that focuses on “How Not To…”

And never again speak for the remainder of your days…become a mute.

Honestly, it serves his defenders right. You can’t and shouldn’t defend the indefensible.

So Trump thinks framing it as sharing facts to fight terrorism is going to work.

It will with his base, Fox cultists and GOP fellow criminals on the Hill. They will refuse to do anything about it. The shooting on 5th ave. is just a matter of time.

Supporters and surrogates of President Donald Trump woke up Tuesday morning to another kick in the teeth.

That’s what the greedy SOBs deserve. They should be flogged as well, mendacious boot-lickers…

The 25th amendment lets the cabinet declare the president unable to perform the duties of his office. Since 5 year olds are definitely unable to perform the duties of the president - it takes a 7 year old - I can’t understand why this cabinet hasn’t utilized the 25th amendment. I guess they just enjoy tossing their reputations for honesty to the wind.

Somewhere in the last several days, I have gotten the feeling that the situation with Trump has turned extremely grave. If you put ANY ignorant buffoon into the White House, the risks of war or economic ruin would be high. If you put in an ignorant, supremely confident buffoon who just won’t shut up, disaster seems inevitable. This is why Rubio is praying today.

Who in the cabinet would do it? They are as bad and are accomplices in it.

If Trump declassified the info then why not share it with the Public?

Wonder what Ivanka and Kushner, the supposedly good influences are? Haven’t heard from them for several days… as it usually happens when the going gets rough. Probably busy milking the influence for all it’s worth and as fast as they can… never know how long is going to last.

Trump doesn’t need anyone so he doesn’t care what his does to his staff.
He is so superior to us mortals that he doesn’t care what he happens to us.
He is the grandest thing to ever land on this earth and is backed up by every Republican who places Trump above our country.

This morning is extraordinary in that a huge number of people, from expected WH surrogates to multiple Senators(Sasse, McConnel, Collins) to the directly concerned(mCMaster)and others are all trying to divert/distract minimize. To me this indicates that maybe the “concern” isn’t merely lip service this time. Now if we can just poke and poke and poke maybe we’ll see Panic.

A question on the minds of many White House staffers these days is “Where’s Beria? What’s taking him so long?”.
