Local people know who they are, when they go for groceries and everything else
I’ll try that one on my local Krogers.
I’d gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamberder today!
B.S. and you know it, Dotard.
Yep he hasn’t been in a grocery store since 1950’s when you could put things on your tab and then we’re sent a bill.
“Why don’t these people go get payday loans at predatory rates? I don’t understand…”
I am in St. Louis County, Mo. Every single grocer is pay as you go. So is every single gas station. And Walmart. And Target. And the Dentist. If you have a decent pediatrician they may let you owe their Co pay for a little while.
Most lenders want you to prove you are employed, and that you can pay it back. Don’t think they 'd be to eager to lend to you at this point.
Gosh, I kind of hate Wilbur Ross.
So now we can add thousands of grocery employees to the 800,000 Feds and unknown number of contractors who will not get paid until Ann Coulter gets her wall…
FFS, Donnie. You and your Royal Court need to learn when to stop digging. Between you, Daughter-in-law dearest Lady Lara, Lord Wilbur the Clueless, and Sir Larry the Privileged, you’re rivaling Louis XIV at Versailles.
Mr. Art of the Deal has never even bought his own fucking groceries. What does he think the inside of a store is like? Serious question. Are there meeting spaces? Do you get a large (or big!) pile of food and pile it on a boardroom table, and say “okay Mr. Manager, here’s my final offer…”
Looking clueless and out of touch is obviously not surprising, but I have to think it is damaging. He just looks like a buffoon, even to some know-nothing jackass in East Holler, PA. Not even stupid, but addled.
"Banks are working along"
What the hell does that mean? He doesn’t have a clue about much less have any sympathy for any of these workers not collecting paychecks. I don’t think he bares any responsibility in any of this.
Yeah, Fat Ass, I’ll tell em to just put it on my tab.
Yeah, I can just see myself trying to talk my way out of the Stop-and-Shop without paying. I’m sure it would go swimmingly.
Maybe the unpaid border patrol can get some loans from Mexican cartels.
“Local people know who they are, when they go for groceries and everything else, and I think what Wilbur was probably trying to say, is that they will work along,”
Rand Corp just came out with a study highlighting that precise risk, that cartels and others will up their offers to TSA and Border Patrol to look the other way.
When George H.W. Bush was considered out of touch. Good times!
“…work along”? Is that a banking term? Never heard that. Is that like “dosie doe your partner” or something?
Apparently Donnie thinks everyone outside NYC and Palm Beach live in Mayberry or Green Acres in 1966.
I’m sure Sam Drucker down to the general store will be pleased as punch to give folks credit on their supplies.
I think we are beginning to have the picture come into focus with these people. I should not be moved to say this, too much already has gone by.
But wow! Just wow!
