As some of us said just the other day – because Sessions has recused (not completely, but enough not to have any say re Mueller) and Pee desperately wants Sessions out for that reason – Sessions should hang the fuck in there and keep giving Pee hell.
I have no problem those people eating each other while Muller is doing his job.

Almost assuredly.
That is the long pattern of how Trump “fires” people. He cuts them out of the loop and stops talking with them. When they don’t get that hint and go away, he starts in with humiliating them, continually escalating that until the breaking point is reached and the person goes away.
He is already in the humiliation phase with Sessions, so its a safe bet they have already passed the “not talking” phase.
That being said, what he is really doing is expressing how desperate they are for an enemy. That is actually one of the main political mistakes that Trump has made,he hasn’t defined a specific enemy and clearly drawn an “us” vs. “them” dynamic. Its the most basic of unifying principles in human history.
Because Trump being Trump, he lashes out at everyone for the most minor of perceived grievances.

He would have done just that if he were still in Congress. The evil man really, really loved doing phoney investigations against the Clintons. Why did he leave and miss that opportunity? I believe none of the reasons he gave.

This is getting painful to see and I’m afraid it’s going to get lot worse. Every day for Trump is Room 101, where you’re confronted with your worst fear. Every day he’s a broken, terrified creature with no will left of its own any more, blindly crying out that somebody else should face the terror, not him. It’s not pretty now and it’s not going to get prettier any time soon.
