Discussion: Trump Weighs In On Whether Clinton Is Qualified For The Presidency

Pretty funny come from a guy who thinks the world needs more nuclear weapons, not less.

That was the best moment of the '88 campaign, imo!!

She got it straight from Xenu. "nuff said.

What is extremely telling, to me, is that since this has been making the news rounds…

…Bernie has been completely silent in response.

He is the one person that can most effectively counter this attack, but as of right now…not a peep.

That twitter addict is not qualified to weighs in on who is qualified to be Prez, even. I’m still amazed (if not surprised) a major national party exhibits a full-blown stupidity and can no longer contain it to pretend seriousness…

Exactly, who would’ve ever predicted that Republicans would use Sanders’ words against our frontrunner and likely nominee? Every-fucking-body, that’s who! Love him or hate him, Sanders just isn’t ready for prime time.

This whole thing is childish - Hillary had it just right when she said it was silly for Bernie to say that she wasn’t qualified. And it was - he said it out of pure pique and that’s not a good characteristic in a president. If anyone can provoke Bernie like that, what does that say about his ability to deal with other heads of state?

It was stupid to give Drumpf any ammo at all - watch them all use it now. I’m surprised Cruz hasn’t jumped in.

O well, it will pass - just like Bill’s colossal error.

Funny you should mention ABC, cause guess what Bernie did again this morning on ABC?

Yep,the son of a bitch went there AGAIN. So to answer my previous post…there is a very clear reason why Bernie won’t comment on Trump’s tweet, because he is out saying exactly the same bullshit today.

And I have little doubt, that Weaver and the low life sewer dwellers that Bernie has on his campaign staff will be touting Trump’s tweet as a reason that superdelegates should back him…cause Trump is going to use the bullshit mud that Bernie is throwing against her, and not Bernie, so he is more electable.

That’s the sort of deranged, vile thinking that permeates their entire campaign.

I honestly don’t believe this!!

There is another reason (besides the fact that I don’t have the same facility with American humour) that I harp on my ethnic background.

And that is, by (study of) history, culture of origin, experience and anecdotal factors, I simply look at elections as dishonest. I was in the Dominican Republic which was passionately described by Carlos Maria Gutierrez in the early 1970s.

One of the reasons that I started posting here in the first place was the aggressive confidence of posters like DaveyJones, littlegirlblue, chammy and darrtown. This was in 2012, when I saw that there was so much racism ignited against Mr. Obama and people of colour in general and when I was fearful that the 2012 vote would simply be arranged to elect Mitt Romney.

The reason that this feeling has not changed very much has more to do with ME than anything else. Nevertheless, I still feel that way…and this is why Josh Marshall confidently stating that Trump’s Nomination is ā€œgoodā€ for Democrats is (to me) like saying that, ā€œas a pilot, I plan to take a small plane out with no parachuteā€. But I know why Josh feels that way.

He believes that votes will be counted accurately and fairly. I always question that. And I would never assume that to place this disaster of a man (Trump) in a national election representing a major party for President would be anything but Russian roulette.

Obama is obviously concerned.

I’m glad as hell that someone - especially Obama - finally said it - Bernie and his supporters are trying to Tea Party the Democratic Party dammit

Yep, Chammy. Unfortunately, I agree that she needs to stomp Sanders if only for appearances. And it would be really nice if she swept the Northeast. I keep reminding myself what @tflick said about her conversation with someone in the Clinton camp, that this was a totally expected rough patch.

It is. The way the schedule is, Bernie got a whole lot of caucuses and a favorable WA and WI all lined up together. They are, for the most part, very small in terms of delegates, and quite frankly, he didn’t do what he needed to do in WI. He gets WY, which of course he will preen about even more and then he gets his clocked cleaned in NY, PA, CT, RI, and MD…all closed primaries and all places where he is way behind in the polling. He might pick up OR, its a favorable electorate, but it is a closed primary…but he again loses badly in CA and NJ.

Not that it will matter, cause the deranged scumbag will continue to try and inflict as much damage as possible on Hillary to weaken her for the General, because I am quite convinced that is how the operates…if he can’t win, then fine…he will do his damnest to make sure she can’t win either. That’ll show em!

The people who are the true Bernie drones…we probably lost. We need to identify them, try to turn the very few we can get, shore up our support and go after the usual folks that all candidates try to get. It is going to have to come down to common sense overcoming zealotry. Hence Mr. Obama stressing, ā€œDon’t TeaBagg yourselvesā€

Marginalize this fucker.

I feel the same especially since the media keeps pushing the meme that she is so unelectable, but in the end WHEN SHE IS THE NOMINEE, we will have the best (Pres. deliciousness) campaigning and there no one better to explain why she should be President. I still believe no matter who the GOPer nominee is, we will win and win big. It is all about the electoral college and we got it,

I keep wondering about these simple questions…

WHERE was all of this goddamned passion in 2010, when Nancy Pelosi was deprived of her Speakership?

WHERE was all of this goddamned passion in 2014, when Yertle became the Obstructor of SCOTUS??

I would be willing to run a Venn diagram of these absent fuckers and the present crew of Hillary sabotagers. We need to operate in the World of the Living. I can assure everyone here that Latinos are on board with Hillary (we don’t have all that much time, fending off haters like Trump and Arpaio, to indulge in sophomoric excursions into this fake-equivanency bullshit in which Hillary=Trump, in the eye of the High Priests of Rightness).
