Remember, EVERYTHING that Trump does is for his own personal GRIFTING.

This list will be sold to the usual suspects: Gold Dealers, Gun Manufacturers, Survival Food Vendors, Fallout Shelter Vendors, etc. You know, the usual Dooms Day Prepper stuff, thus whipping up the Fear Factor among the people on the list.

It will be GIVEN to the Russians for obvious reasons.

It will then be used to conduct Targeted Push Polling to make Trump’s “aggregate” polling numbers LOOK BETTER, thus Gaming the feckless and lazy MSM again, just like in 2016.

Republicans seem to never get tired of being the marks in the con. Really - kudos to the evil minds that devised this as it’s a nice twofer. They gin up faux outrage which is mana for their base AND the build a marketing list. Guess the “EVIL San Francisco liberal - NANCY PELOSI!!” schtik isn’t working as well.

I suspect this list will have three purposes:

  1. “Statistics” about bias they can point to as propaganda.
  2. Grifty mailing list to push “vote Repub!” as well as dodgy multivitamins.
  3. The one no one here has mentioned yet: some fraction of these reports will come from uber-trolls who maintain a presence on lots of platforms, troll the shit out of “the libs”, and frequently get banned. For those who file repeated reports of being banned for “conservative content”, this may effectively be a recruitment list for the Trump campaign’s domestic troll army.

Also worth noting is that the form itself (and presumedly the accompanying data) is NOT hosted at whitehouse.gov. Instead, it’s hosted at typeform.com, which is located in Spain. I’m going to go out on a short limb and say this hosting arrangement might have odd implications for data ownership, privacy, liability, etc.

I certainly hope that nobody resorts to any kind of childish tomfoolery by going to Trump’s List-a-rama and entering false information. That would be Fake Noise! I certainly would never do such a thing! I wouldn’t dream of entering something on behalf of, say, Andrew Loog Oldham! No, that would be a terrible terrible thing to do!

The White House on Wednesday asked social media users to submit their tales of suspected political bias by platforms like Facebook, Twitter and others. It also asked for a lot of personal information, with little explanation of how it would be used.

So, the White House is basically creating their own version of Facebook to steal your data and spread disinformation. Sounds legit.

Here’s the latest irony. donnie just announced a new immigration plan and part of it includes a civics test. You know, the kind donnie couldn’t pass. Come to think of it…maybe his version of a “Civics” class will just be questions about his book “The Art of the Deal”
