Discussion: Trump Wants Ginsburg Off The Supreme Court ASAP For Criticizing Him

I guess it’s like with psychiatrists, who typically avoid the temptation to publicly suggest a diagnosis for a person they haven’t themselves examined. A number of them have tossed that rule when it comes to Trump—they’re all “Pfft, come on, NPD, it’s, like, obvious duh!” He’s just one of those extreme cases that test the rule. And I hope her next comment is he can take his suggestions about her or anything else and cram them up his voluminous butt.

You don’t tug on Superman’s cape.
You don’t spit into the wind.
You don’t pull the mask off that old Lone Ranger
And you don’t mess around with The Notorious RBG

Meh. I hear your point, but republican justices have long so destroyed that fig leave of not getting involved in partisan politics. And RGB has a vested interest in this particular election. So of course she has an opinion, and of course she is going to be asked about it.

Not answering or giving some water downed, “it beneath me as a Justice” reply, would have be unbelievable and inauthentic.

It’s unfortunate Ginsburg has to be the one to lob insults so blatantly designed to get under Trump’s skin, such as a demand for his tax returns. Every mention of this, by anyone, elicits squeals of rancor on his part. Hillary and the DNC should be paying sky writers to plaster this overhead cities in every contested state. Why the hell she doesn’t beat this drum more loudly and incessantly is a puzzle. I live in a swing state. There should be “Release your tax returns!!” billboards everywhere. There aren’t.

I tend to think Supreme Court justices should stay out of campaigning, but I suppose since legislators comment until they’re blue in the face about the executive branch, justices should be able to as well.

It’s tough for Trump because the senior right-wing radical on the court doesn’t talk.

At-il fait le pivot, maintenant?

I’m with you. It is more than puzzling that Dems have seemingly accepted the fact that Trump won’t release those returns.

She wouldn’t care what he thought even if she were younger.

Can’t someone muzzle this clown? What an idiot.

Ce débile la? Jamais. Des conneries seulement, toujours des conneries. Je m’excuse pour les gros mots, mais voila la vérité.

It’s “You don’t tug on Superman’s cape,” but it works either way.

I tend to agree, but I also think about Ginni Thomas actually being an advocate for issues before the court and being a “key member of Groundswell, a coalition of right wing activists and journalists attempting to make political change behind the scenes through lobbying of high-level contacts.”

Guess whose odds are better for getting what they want?

In aggregate I’ve heard more criticism of Trump’s nondisclosure from Republicans than I have from Democrats. Trump needs to lose, but I fear much of the bitching about the Democrat’s timid and ineffectual campaign messaging is true. The GOP tries to feminize the party, essentially labeling them pussies. Leaving aside the loutish nature of such slander, they have a valid point.

You’re right. I fixed it.

Ginni Thomas is pure scum. As you know, she resurrected her husband’s craven lies not that long ago, harassing Ms. Hill via telephone message. What an odious couple! They deserve each other.

“I think it’s highly inappropriate that a United States Supreme Court judge gets involved in a political campaign, frankly,” Trump told the Times by phone.
That is as long as they are not installing the LOSING REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE as the POTUS like they did in 2000.
That is just fine by him. Today.
