Discussion: Trump Vows Federal Support For Victims Of California Wildfires

Ah , Jerry Brown bowed down to Trumpy , Mayor Carmen didn`t . Hey Drumpy , Mayor Carmen has bigger balls .

California wildfires are a natural occurrence. The plants and animals are adapted to survive and benefit from the periodic fire cycle. The people who build in the fire zones know what they are getting into every time they look at the cost of home insurance.

So generously assuming he isn’t babbling bullshit, what if anything is he promising here? All I can see is him winding up to say something nasty about Governor Brown.

But are the fires in the northern part of CA where he has supporters? I doubt that if this was SF or LA he’d make this gesture.

Oh and what’s up with ‘He says, “We have to never forget.”’ The people affected won’t forget, the conditions that caused the hurricanes won’t be addressed by this administration, and how FEMA is dealing with PR will have consequences.

Friggin moron,
He probably didn’t even know he said it until he read about it.

For once Trump is showing a good head for business. If he leverages the Federal disaster relief support to recruit some of the Napa winemakers displaced by the fire, perhaps the FDA can be persuaded to “upgrade” Trump Winery Virginia Viognier to “Sublethal” from its current “Lethal” designation.

After Ben Carson told Trump no Puerto Ricans lost their homes in the fire committing Federal help was a no-brainer.

After some well tim3d verbal abuse, he will give them the Puerto Rican treatment and begrudgingly mete out assistance to people who’s lives have been destroyed.

He’ll complain California is getting too big a slice of the foreign assistance budget. The United Nations should shoulder their fair share of the burden.

"No more nation rebuilding!!"

Trump paused to snort before continuing, “And then I said, ‘We’re going to give you the same level of all out support we’re giving Puerto Rico!’”

So first he’ll knock out the power to N. CA., then insist that Nestles gets all the water, cut the gas deliveries to N.CA., close the supermarkets, and finally force the mayors of affected towns to get to Wyoming daily to report their situations and fill out paperwork. Is what you’re thinking?

Now that it has been determined that there were more than 40 deaths from Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico, was it a real catastrophe?

Apparently he immediately realized that Californians are American citizens rather than having to be informed that Puerto Ricans are citizens too. His prompt action here only makes his delay in helping Puerto Rico more heinous.

I think the lesson here is that for the next 4 years or so, as long as the Dynamic Duo remain in office, don’t live anywhere where a natural disaster will hit, especially where large numbers of Democrats and squishy cuck Republicans live. Uproot yourself and plan accordingly…

Yeah, I know. Good luck with that, huh.

Mother nature is wrecking Trounce’s use of Federal funds for his insanely ignorant pet projects.
Walls go unbuilt this way and bombs unbombed. This is irritating the Orange Menace to no end and foiling his not so well laid plans.

He’s having to help those he hates while his planned deceiviousness is on hold and waits.

Uproot yourself and move to a sane country…

Oh, he’ll still insist federal outlays cover his stupid wall and the Pentagon gets more than it needs (or wants). Remember, Republicans are in charge, therefore deficits don’t matter. We’ll just borrow more from _________.

We’ll see about that.
The full length wall isn’t ever happening but some garden variety of it will probably get built and the military doesn’t want the shit that is being heaped upon them now.

There is a big difference in declaring the expense ahead of time than the actual use of all those declared dollars.

Its just a part of the non-stop reality show, that is baseless in reality.
