I thought this was an interesting observation from Josh last night:

Now, let’s assume, for the sake of argument, that another 1500 were turned away. That would make LESS THAN 10,00 people who wanted to hear Trump speak — in a state he won by double digits. Also, Mike Murphy on MSNBC last night noted his bragging about trade wars fell very flat, probably because the largest BMW manufacturing plant is located about 100 miles north in Spartanburg. They (the attendees) know what the EU can do, and I think they’re scared. They probably also are thinking about what Harley Davidson just did, and wondering if the same fate awaits them.

Trump’s base may be rabid, but I think it’s shrinking to the point he won’t be able to fill a KFC parking lot.

Let’s see: arrived late, bragged about crowd, complained about Hillary, “lock her up”, build the wall, latest congressperson and celebrities to complain about, tried to convince crowd he was smarter/richer/more famous than them. Oh, and 5 minutes applying the kiss of death, er, campaigning for the person who supposed to be the focus of the show.

Yep, sounds like a typical Trump rally. Yawn.
