At this point he just sounds pathetic.

Glad to see Trump is taking this clearly documented threat to our election integrity and national security so seriously!

Doesn’t he. Watching him and his buddies try to spin this is almost like watching a sport. Again, the simplest path was not taken. We are going to watch them make their incompetence and complicity look far worse. I figure all the weasels are going to either try to hide, align themselves in the great patriotic war or find some nonsense to take ownership. All which will fail.

Um, when has he not … but of course I agree. Also, can’t wait to hear why Ryan and McConnell can’t launch any new legislation to protect our upcoming election. They have to wash their hair. Or at least Paul does.

The combination of desperate panic and utter cluelessness would be worthy of sympathy, or at least pity, if this nasty specimen of a man deserved even the tiniest bit of either.

dannydorko and others were prescient that Trump would never accept the Mueller-Russian indictments.

I am, however, surprised Trump was this quick with his outrage, especially considering the dead and wounded children he just empathetically consoled.

Alternate headline for this piece: “Trump Takes Ass-Covering Tweet by Facebook Exec at Face Value, Claims ‘NO COLLUSION!’”

Who the hell is this Facebook “executive”? And why is he so intent on defending Trump and undermining this investigation into Russian interference in the election?? Inquiring minds would like to know.

And Goldman is still trying to defend the tweet.

Well done, @facebook! Zuckerberg and company allowed this interference, because $$$$ and Rob Goldman is now trying to claim that the interference wasn’t to get Trump elected, but to “divide us”.

Zuck is Yuck! Zuck 2020! LOLOL.

He’s probably very concerned about the possible loss in revenue.

The thing is that there are tweets from as early of 2013 praising and endorsing Trump for president, and yes those tweets are from his russians buddies. He told them back then that he wanted to run and they got organized. Trump is obtuse if he thinks that people will believe that no groundwork had been done before his announcement in 2015.

all I ask is that broadcast news organizations run the foul praise parties politicians and cabinet members used to give him before each and every meeting all saying it was an honor to work with him every time they have the same politicians on-air as talking heads for the next 2 years.

The obvious reason Trump is not leading our country on this is because he has colluded and is desperately afraid of the investigation.

Beyond that, the reason the Russians set up their group in 2014 (if this is factual) was because by that point, the Obama administration had escalated our challenge of Russian aggressions in Crimea/Ukraine/E. Europe. Putin knew that Hillary as Chief Exec. would step up defense of the U.S. against Russian subterfuge and also step up support our allies. Putin’s actions were anchored in the mindset of “anybody but Hillary”. Trump just happened to be the Chump who the Russians realized would, if elected, do most damage to the U.S. as a country. They own the fool.

Vlad loves Trump the Chump.

What does the innocent man do? The innocent man reads these indictments and pledges complete cooperation, doggedly pursues justice for the crimes, and vows to make further interference impossible.

The Feebleminded Fraudster was the obvious choice for Putin to support in the election because of his corruptibility, lack of any core of values or principle or political ideas other than the right-wing nativist proclivities that he shares with Putin, and – not least – the economic connections that the Fraudster had developed with Russians over the years. He obviously desired to break into the Russian market, and without the ability to expand there, his heavily leveraged business model was destined to run aground. Obviously the groundwork was laid before 2014.

The Fraudster is so self-absorbed that if Russia launched a nuclear strike against the United States, he’d be tweeting about how it affected his properties.
