Yes everything should be calculated to isolate and defang Chump. Only do things that don’t feed his Troll-abilities. His ‘socialism and baby-killing’ really scores with his 28% but I think it sounds really desperate and wild to most ears. Getting down in the mud with him just lends him credence. I think 75% of the country is fine with quarantining him, since they obviously don’t feel in great numbers that impeachment is palatable.

Any well-done ignoring and eroding aimed at Chump WILL go down well with the public and could work to flip the Media narrative that always, always works for Rpublicans and esp. works for Chump. He just sucks oxygen and we need to cut off his oxygen instead of trying to win a breath holding contest.
