On the other hand, his campaign will paint the GOP into its demographic corner for at least the next decade. It takes a strong stomach to sit through this, but at the end we’re going to get a changed (for the better) country.

McConnell is more realistic than to suggest that Trump needs to be more presidential. CNN quoted McConnell as saying “I think it’s still time for him to act like a presidential candidate should be acting.” Not sure if that is an acknowledgement of the practical limits of Trump’s potential or a dog whistle to the B-actor GOP Patron Saint.
I’ve said before and I’ll say again: Trump isn’t just going to wreck the GOP, he’s going to wreck Likkud, if he gets half a chance. Point your hoverround in the opposite direction and flee, Mr Adelson.
here’s hoping. trump has provided one significant service. he has brought on display the vile, contemptible underbelly of the republican party. the size and scope is saddening, but it is better to know the enemy that is there.
If Hillary is so corrupt, why hasn’t she been busted for anything? Clearly the evidence is so overwhelming that even internet posters know about it. Yet, even with the binders full of evidence that posters point to, not a single charge has been brought up against her. Why is that? Either she is immune to prosecution, or the charges are bogus and anyone who could bring them up know they have nothing. It has to be one or the other.
