Can the Enabling Law be far behind?

either elect more Republican Senators in 2018 or change the rules now to 51%. Our country needs a good “shutdown” in September to fix mess!

There are actually TWO separate ideas going on here:

  1. Legislative filibuster
  2. Gov’t. shutdown

I’m assuming that this tweet reflects that the last person he spoke to was Mulvaney. Mulvaney is so horrifically stupid it’s questionable whether he has some sort of brain damage. In addition to being incredibly dishonest.

If there’s another gov’t. shutdown this summer, Rump just committed his party to being the culprit. No blaming Dems; it’s squarely on them. Now they didn’t suffer much blowback with Dem POTUS. Will it play out the same way with a Rethug one?

Doesn’t he have a job to go to?

Please give diaper Donald his wish for a shutdown in September, heading into the mid-term run-up.

I get the feeling Mulvaney actually doesn’t understand the double counting of $2 trillion in his budget calculations.

I think Senate Republicans are actually quite happy to have a ready-made excuse for why they haven’t passed terrible, wretched legislation that would be very popular with their donors and very unpopular with their voters.

I don’t think The Donald really comprehends this notion. Sad!

Er, Donald, what needs shutting down is you.

You’d think he’d have more pressing matters to attend to rather than worrying about Senate rules.

This guy is a perfect Republican. They work best complaining and knocking down things. But when it comes to actual deals, working with different people and coming to a consensus, he’s an abject failure. His only mode is my way or no way - which may work fine in the real estate world but is awful in actual governing.

Not until after Faux and Friends.
He needs to know how many times they mentioned his name and what his policy should be today

Screw that checks and balances BS! In fact, screw the Senate and the House! I’m the Man! Bring on the opulence, the obsequiousness, the red carpets, and I need a few more medals for the uniform I’m planning. I’m the winner - did you see my numbers? The best, the best ever!

Tweeting IS his job, silly. AND it’s a lot more taxing that he thought it would be. This is governing, in Trump’s book. Sadly, his thumbs don’t have that much stamina as the day progresses.

This is exactly why Fox ratings are the lowest ever … they can’t find enough boring stories that don’t have to do with Russia.

Fast and easy is not always the best way considering dt does not consider consequences.
