I love that racism is ‘recognizing’ it. And that the Star of David is ‘profiling’. The ‘base’ of the Donald’s party? campaign? rally? seems to think he has a ‘point’. The stupidity is stunning.
I’m not sure Trump has the level of self-awareness for deliberately wanting the establishment to take the nomination away. It’s more that iif he wants this race to be fun for him, he has to stay in the spotlight. He really thrives on attention, and bad attention is the only kind he can get right now.
And I think you’re right that getting thrown out by the establishment is not something he sees as a bad outcome. It would mean that he was really a winner, but Those People couldn’t handle the huge brilliant macho vision of greatness that he offered. (It’s a little like his bankruptcies, where he “won” because other people lost their investments.)
National Enquirer, Disney coloring books, Twitter, and talk shows. That’s worse than Sister Sarah not being able to say what news sources she reads.
That’s way too complex and too many things for Trump’s teeny tiny little fingers to juggle.
Maybe it’s just much political reading. Maybe it’s mild depression. But this man AND HIS FOLLOWERS are seriously scaring me.
You forgot that Zika is an engineered biowarfare product that was supposedly destroyed by both the US and Russia after the Cold War. The funding however was cut so it was just released as being harmless.
For those taking the above seriously, I have a Brooklyn Bridge for sale cheap…
OMG, 50 Hillary stickers!?!?!?
He also gets his inspiration from Disney princesses for his hair color.
No sh^t.
Even if I subliminally took it to read: ‘With 50 Judaic Stickers!’?
I’m simply not offended.

Wait, is Trump saying Fishbonehead1 created that cover and posted it on 8Chan?
Actually, the star in the Frozen book, while being six pointed, isn’t a Star of David. The Star of David is a 6 pointed star created by two interlaced equilateral triangles, all the sides are equal. The interlaced triangles making the star in the Frozen book are not equilateral. The sides of the triangles are longer than the base.
Tying together Jews and money has been a classic form of antisemitism throughout the ages. The only person ignorant of this fact is Trump. There is a real world except for this person who has lived in an isolated ivory tower all his life. What next? Will he be become a Holocaust denier?David Duke and his ilk get happier every minute.
Hey, if I start seeing Donald or his followers start pants-wetting about what I said above–because it’s true–I will then impress upon them how inexpensive that bridge is … and what a great, huge, best, high, strong the best, the strongest bridge they can get for the money.
Donald Trump bought the air rights about the Brooklyn bridge for a song, 30 years ago.
Now anyone who wants to put a skyscraper there has to pay him a LOT of money.
Here we are back in Kindergarten with Advanced Shape Recognition.
First, the antisemitic suite of the Trump tweet was the juxtaposition of (1) a very clear and faithful Star of David, (2) a pile of money, (3) allegations of corruption, (4) lineage clearly taken from white supremacists, and (5) Trump’s long and sordid racist, misogynist, xenophobic, and just plain hate-filled verbal history. All of those combine to make it clear this was antisemitic, and likely intentionally so on the part of Trump’s crew (definitely intentional on the original “author’s” part since they are unabashedly antisemitic).
Second, no, that star on the Frozen cover is not in fact a Star of David. Again, let’s try to remember preschool. A Star of David is constructed by taking two equilateral triangles (that is two triangles where all three sides are the same length, or rather, no matter which side you put on the bottom it looks the same, Little Donnie), and placing one with a point facing up and the other with a point facing down, such that they form a “Star” with six points. In the later advanced class we’ll show that those points are all 60 degree angles, and that all six point are equally extended from vertex to point.
Looking at the “Frozen” sticker book you can see that the simple construction was clearly and intentionally foiled in the star. The vertices in the middle - left and right - are pulled inward, making the four corner angles somewhat less than 60 degrees. It also makes the shape “irregular” as the four “corner” angles are smaller than the top and bottom angles as a result.
This isn’t incredibly pertinent, but the point is that not every six-sided star is a Star of David. The very specific geometry has cultural significance due to the fabled shape of King David’s shield. A star which is morphed or skewed as in this Frozen sticker book has much less cultural “punch” than one which is perfect, as in your original tweet.
Third, I really wish we were good enough as a country to have two Presidential candidates who had emotionally matured past the fourth grade and constant “but they did it too!” justification-seeking behavior. It is emotionally taxing having to burst such a child’s bubble by pointing out that the other case was justified because of how they did it, or even that the other guy was wrong too but that doesn’t make your use of it right. Yes, Little Donnie, you can go through life always justifying everything you do because someone else did it before you, but you know what that makes you? Nothing more than a copy-cat, and worse, a copy-cat of wrongness. Great people do good things that no one else did before. Great people do good things that don’t need a “but so-and-so did it first!” justification. Maybe someday you can make a name for yourself, one that you can be proud of, Donnie.
Trump has to win every argument, he has to be right, and that means the press and populace have to admit that MR Trump was right. In this case, his argument is ridiculous, and people have now begun to mock him, but he can’t let it go. I don’t think Trump is trying to lose the presidency, I think he is fatally flawed person who can’t ever concede. That Trump can’t admit he was wrong is bad enough, but he can’t even think about anything else right now. He has become unhinged.
The GOP bigwigs must be pretty nervous right now. The attempt to keep The Donald on track, and reading from prepared statements has failed. It is all too easy to get under Trump’s very thin orange skin and provoke him into a defensive frenzy.
Trump reminds me the the old SNL character Irwin Mainway who attempted to convince the audience that his company’s product, “bag of broken glass”, was a harmless children’s toy.
