I haven’t seen the whole performance in Cincinnati but there are numerous observers who said it was one of the most blatant demonstrations yet that he’s not a well man. James Fallows said it was like the mosquito bit extended to a half-hour. This. Is. Weird.

We need make Donald aware of these new genetically-altered mosquitoes, engineered with drone-like precision – and that they’ve been programmed to search out those who are genetically-identified to likely be conservative. Since scientists have known for sometime there are genetic markers for those of us who either have or lack empathy, we’ve been able to engineer this new design of mosquito to seek out and bite those who lack empathy–your basic idjit Republican–and continue biting them. We’ve infected said mosquitoes with Zika, HIV and various hepatitis mutations*. They’ve been released in middle Appalachia, NYC, the Central Valley of California, rural Indiana, northern and central Louisiana, parts of Texas, Cleveland, OH, and Idaho. This is real, Donald – and they’ll find you and your unempathetic supporters.
*HIV and some other viruses are not transmitted by mosquito bite, but conservatives continue to believe otherwise.

It was probably one of the zillions of right-wing nutters he and his staff follow. I bet there’s a site (just one?) devoted entirely to proving that Walt Disney is a jewish/atheist/muslim/wiccan conspiracy brainwashing good christian children by inserting subliminal other-religion symbols into its movies blah blah. And that that’s where this came from.

Suggesting such a ridiculous Disney conspiracy theory is going to alienate yet another generation of Americans against the Republican Party…and it deserves it for nominating this bigoted jerk for president.

Although a number of high profile Jewish people who worked with Disney defended him and strongly argued that he was not an anti Semite, a firestorm erupted after actress Meryl Streep referred to Walt Disney as a racist, misogynist and anti Semitic. AND members of Disney’s own family came out in support of Streep! Disney’s own grandneice, a film producer:

After this past week, I can only conclude that Trump wants the GOP establishment to take the nomination from him. He won’t quit, because Donald Trump WINS. But the campaign this week, in the face of unprecedented attack material from the FBI director, simply imploded into silliness and outright mental imbalance. That’s the only rational explanation the I can come up with. The alternative - that he leaves Cleveland as the official nominee - is far too frightening to consider.
What do y’all think? Am I off the mark here?
