The shear irony is previous presidents who favored sane firearms laws were more apt at handling and respecting firearms than Trump or his family ever would be.

They have been the red meat. When Congress refused to act after Sandy Hook, it was on. When our leaders were willing to say almost nothing after 5 and 6 year olds are gunned down at school, in their classrooms, you know the people who sat silently or offered thoughts and prayers while saying it was too soon, have truly lost their souls.
The only time the GOP talks about gun violence is to ridicule Chicago. They donāt offer solutions (itās the culture you know), just platitudes.

The NRA membership represents 1.4% of the American people. (4.5 million out of 326.8 million)
In other words - we are the 98.6%!

Well there you go students. The NRA dished out $ 30 million to get this golf duffer elected. The same NRA spent much more electing Republicans who have made very sure that nothing, as in zero, will be done to protect you from assault weapons as long as they are in office. I refer you to the taunts they circulate among themselves: #watchtheleftmeltdownā. So in spite of the nice words, thoughts and prayers, you are not going to get any real relief from being soft targets for gun nuts. You can however register to vote and then vote out those who get straight Aās on their NRA report card. You are a new cohort of voters, and there are many of you. Your skills with electronic media are just amazing to me. Use them. Organize. Stop the madness.
