Discussion: Trump To Visit Black Church After Year Without A Single Black Community Event

Why anyone allow this racist prick inside their sanctuary in beyond me!

How is pretending a church is like a television studio outreach?

Because the interviewer is black?

Talking to one single black person sucking up to him is going to make him look an even bigger fool.

That’s a subdivision of Detroit. Its first subdivision in the city. That home used to be the Archdiocese of Detroit for the Catholic Archbishop. My brother’s first wife grew up in Sherwood Forest, next to Palmer Woods…also considered a fancy-shmancy neighborhood, but not quite as affluent as Palmer Woods.

Why he’s going to Detroit, I have no idea. It is a fool’s errand at this point so late in the game. McCain got about 3% of the black vote in Detroit. RMoney got only 2% and in some precincts in Detroit, he got zero. tRump is likely to get less than zero, if that’s possible.

I think it could be a broadcast tower for television and radio. Or it’s an update on this architectural monstrosity, linking to wikipedia…

Given that Bishop Wilson’s home more resembles an ostentatious New England Prep School or Ivy League Campus than a home, I would venture to guess that the Bishop would lead the NIMBY campaign were anyone to attempt to build any of their ministry or community structures anywhere but downtown Detroit. It is also proof that the seudo Christian Prosperity Gospel can be imitated in communities outside of its demographic of origin.

Trump is at -36 with college educated white voters compared to Romney. He’s trying to stop that hemorrhaging and reverse the flow by trying his best to pretend to be more palatable to educated people who think we should not be needlessly cruel to one another.

Pastor Mark Burns, Donald Trump’s adviser on issues relating to black voters, announced earlier today that Trump will be speaking to The Impact Network, an African American-owned Christian television network, this coming Saturday as part of his outreach attempts to minority communities who are deeply suspicious of the candidate.

This afternoon, he tweeted this:

This is pretty much like campaigning in Mississippi or Idaho, ie; pointless.

Anyone catch how his campaign tried to do Hispanic outreach the other day?

It doesn’t get any more pathetic than that.

I always wondered how he knew that’s what they did.

I thought Jesus looked like a Klingon in this one.

Klingon or Nick Ashford, at least He’s not shown as blonde and blue eyed which He couldn’t possibly have been since He was a Semite.

I grew up in the city of Detroit and still have family in the metro area. I actually do believe it’s starting to recover from this latest round. I was back there last summer for a high school reunion (Cass Tech, right in the heart of downtown) and my sister asked me if I wanted to walk along the riverfront on a Friday night. I thought, “Are you kidding me?” I thought we’d be taking our lives in our hands. But the place was packed – it was jumping! There was a free outdoor concert at the Renaissance Center – a Credence Clearwater cover band – and the assortment of people dancing and hanging out downtown just warmed my heart. I never would have expected it. Detroiters are resilient, if nothing else. Don’t stop rooting for them!
