Discussion: Trump To Meet With Two Key House GOPers Opposed To O'care Repeal Bill

Hey, let’s vote on the bill before we even see it and w/o a score!

And they will say:
You don’t have to go to town halls
You’re not getting reelected but we would like a shot at it.
Now be a good boy and go tweet something or offend some world leader

Judging by history, he will fail spectacularly and then whine on Twitter

Donnie hasn’t figured out that he has no credibility with these guys. They know that the moment they are out the door, the probability of him changing his mind (read: “folding like a cheap suit”) is pretty high.

I highly doubt that they are going to be swayed by his “support”… and I highly doubt that they care one single iota for his “success.” Plus, if he tries his mafia tactics on them, it may boomerang big time.

He can assure them constituent’s concerns will be “beautifully” addressed in “Phase 2” of the legislation. And then he can say “Believe me.” But literally everyone in the world with a few benighted exceptions has his number at this point.

Does anyone ever say “no thanks, I’m not interested in meeting with Dumblefuck”??

Duterte did. Fussy about his company, it seems.

Effects of EHB waivers could cross state lines, undermining key protections in large employer plans everywhere: https://t.co/xvR7uav97w

I’m thinking this might be an issue as well…

“Mr. President, to be clear, based on what you said and tweeted on Monday, you know you are going to have to Veto this bill if it passes, right?” Said no GOP congressman or WH advisor to Trump - nor will either of these two. Wusses.

Seriously
What does he have to threaten them, always bringing a knife to a gunfight
“I’m the President”
So?

Yeah, I had to laugh at that one. Pretty sad. John Cleese once said that when he and Connie Booth were writing “Fawlty Towers” they used to cringe at the terrible things they’d make happen to Basil, even though he totally deserved them and all. I was going to say of course Trump isn’t a fictional character but then again, to a great extent he is. And he has the humiliations coming, God knows.

He’ll threaten to campaign for them unless the vote for the bill.

Yeah. And the other thing: if they have already publicly said “no”, THEY lose THEIR credibility if they change after talking to Mr. SnakeOil. Their own butts are worth much more to them than his, especially with the Russia thing looming on the horizon.

If the state visit to London ever happens (and I seriously doubt it ever will), I think Donnie isn’t going to be exactly impressed by the reception he receives. Frosty, but cordial, hosts. Millions lining the streets to jeer.

But as always, Basil brought it on himself with his egotism and stupidity.
Role model indeed Mr.Trump

Trump is an amazing failure. His vaunted art of the deal (written by a ghost writer) doesn’t work in government.
