Because Dotard - who hates details and won’t lift a finger (or brain cell) to learn them - thinks that he can delegate creating individual trade deals (that are Better!!) with each participating country.

The last car I own ed was a Honda Accord that had been assembled in my home state of Ohio. The components came from many places but auto plants still stimulate a lot of ripple effects with supplier plants, specialty machine shops, etc. I was happy to help Ohio. Trump probably doesn’t realize that even with domestic content laws, places like Thailand get all the cars sold locally in their country to be built there.

I was just going to Google that. Anyway, Honda has four US plants, Nissan has two & Subaru has one. So, President Numbnuts was only off by at least 13 factories. Which is 13 more factories in the US than his family has, BTW.
