There are just not enough words to describe how despicable this guy is. He gets attention by being an asshole, thrives on it it, really, and those us who see him for what it is, well, if this is what a bubble looks like, I’ll stay.

Trump is the embodiment of an Internet troll: no one and nothing is out of bounds. Nothing is too outrageous.
If it stirs controversy, and generates attention, he’ll say it. In his world, there is no bad PR - there’s only fodder for his ego.

He never visited the 9/11 memorial until he was a candidate and then it was just for the purposes of a photo op, with Melanjia next to him teetering on her stilettos and body parts jiggling and photographers trailing.

Donald, I know that you think you know all the good words. Even big words. But really, I think you should know what some of those words mean. Sacrifice-- “an act of giving up something valued for the sake of something else regarded as more important or worthy.” So when you hire somebody to do work for them this is not a sacrifice, because these people are hired to provide some kind of service or work so that you can line your pockets with wads and wads of money. So Donald learn who to speak English as well as some of the the immigrants that have come to America. May be the Khans can give some lessons in English. As far as lessons I’m morality and ethics go, you are not quite there yet. It will be quite some time before you acquire the prerequisites.

I’m shocked that the father of a fallen soldier looked emotional.
Is Trump even human? Does he experience human emotions? He clearly doesn’t have empathy, but has he never watched a TV show or something where his heartless body could have learnt that people who lose kids tend to be emotional?
He’s definitely a sociopath, completely lacking in any ability to be emotionally aware of other people

Is there anyone in the group of Trump supporters who can honestly say to themselves, “I would be fine trusting that this man would not send my son or daughter into harm’s way frivolously. Of course I’ll be proud when my kids enlist to fight whatever battle he has decided is necessary to save our nation.”
I’m not joking. Are those folks yelling “hang 'em” and other violent tropes at his rallies listening to what he’s telling them he will do?
We all understand he’s not planning on putting any of his own children or grandchildren into the pool of those who will be sacrificed to make good on his tough-guy promises. But his followers really should stop to think about how they’d feel if they sent their own to do his bidding and he treats the loss of of their loved ones with such heartless disdain.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say, “No.” I’ve always felt that no matter what he says, he can always say something worse, but I think this has to be the nadir of his discourse.

As a lifelong New Yorker I can attest to his nothingness after 9/11. He did not attend one funeral or memorial service. It’s doubtful he even donated to any of the associated charities. He did get $150k in aid for his building downtown which was pointed out by my congressman Joe Crowley at the DNC. Crowley happens to be the only member of congress to lose a family member on 9/11.
I know it sounds callous but the day after 9/11 I thought to myself “Darn, why couldn’t the terrorists hit Trump Tower instead”.

I lived in Manhattan in the 80’s and first half of the 90’s and we were a downscale liberal literati.
The highlight of my month was to pass a newsstand and see the new issue of SPY magazine come out and be the first to race to the tavern to share it with the group.
“The short-fingered vulgarian”, “close-friend-free millionaire” ,“Synthetically good-looking deadbeat”,“Very symbol of greed, vulgarity, and bluster” - these were the descriptions we knew to be true of this “Fairly treacherous human being”.
