I wonder if the brain trustees at Falwell U. will be filled with enough forgiveness to still welcome his appearance following his unceremonious resignation and criminal indictment(s)?
Perhaps he’ll be given an honorary doctorate in English for his works of fiction. Then, perhaps, after bragging about the scope of his election victory, he’ll advise the young, impressionable, Liberty University graduates to “go out into the world and grab life bigly, by the pussy”

Hah. No one else would have him. Does this mean that Liberty U. will give him an Honorary Degree in Biblical Studies? It sure is a lot easier than actually having to read the darn thing. So many pages. Amiright, children of the corn?
I was really surprised last year by some students’ reaction to Trump’s campaign stop there. I believe a number of students signed on to a letter of protest?objection? who did not want his stop to be an endorsement by the student body to Trump’s candidacy. Now they get to have him as a commencement speaker. Ah Trump - he creates dissenters even in spaces which promote a degree of group think.
Imagine having the courage, in that environment, to participate with this letter. I respect those students and faculty for this action, tremendously. Then you get to your graduation, and the Buffoon in chief is the commencement speaker - once again representing the U. Guessing that this subset of new Liberty U alum will not be likely to become big alumni donors in the future.
